At long last. Have waited over 50 years to see this movie again. My Dad took me to the cinema to see it, been looking for it on line, the scene with the riders coming into town with poles up their backs sealed it for me. Strangely I had memories of the heroes being the ones with poles up their backs. It was a long time ago, I was only about 10 yrs old at the time. Dad got me an ice cream, it was a real treat.
I love the peplum movies very, very, very Much because i love those historical ages and these movies remind me a wonderful chilhood of movies with my father. So thanks very, very, very Much for your Channel. I subscribed it immediately.
Ah Helga Line , she was a stunningly beautiful woman & great in all her roles in these films but her Horror films with Barbara Steele & without her were a blast . Women like her are a rare thing & she was a beauty, thank the Gods she was saved at the end .
In these 1960's "Sword and Sandal" movies, I always watch for a "blooper" ... The bare left upper arm of these ancients always show a round, circular indentation in the skin. A scar where they were innoculated for small-pox and other such diseases. As was I and everyone else in mid 20th century.

It was a "foreign" film so probably had 2 or more titles depending on which country it was being shown in.

The only "blooper" i watch out for are the speedo shots under the guys' tunics.
