I wish the 80s lasted longer than 10 years. Such great memories.
Me too, great times.
Absolutely! 😀
So pure. All was perfect.
The 80s are forever
so much memories and nostalgia from back then
AGL 3000 I’m 45 and this brings me back to my childhood.
As previously explained, Wally didn't last terribly long in those Smacks ads but seeing the Madballs AND the Super Madballs again were cool!
But remember when they had cool stuff like candy packages in cereal boxes?
The last part (#28 - 30) aired Sunday, 2/1/87. The "Three's Company" promo is for the episode "The Case of the Missing Blonde" which aired Monday, 2/2/87 at 6:00 PM on WTAF-29.
3:40 - "His power matched only by his wisdom!"...Funny, I never thought of He-Man as wise. But, I guess when you live in a world where nobody can tell that He-Man and Prince Adam are the same person, it doesn't take much to be labeled a genius in Eternia.
That's for sure lol.
Spaghetti Os, man that brings me back to my childhood
#1 - 5: Sunday, 1/11/87; Three's Company ep aired Monday, 1/12/87; "Gidget that night at 6 PM
#6 - 27: Sunday, 1/18/87; Three's Company ep aired Monday, 1/19/87; "Gidget" that night at 6 PM
"Throb" was in reruns at this time
- I have never seen an ad for a specific syndicated “Three’s Company” episode before.
- “The New Gidget” seems like it had a very low production budget. I’m surprised its reruns didn’t join with the reruns of the similar quality “Throb” on USA Network.
Thank you for the new word for my vocabulary "curmudgeonly"
Philadelphia's WTAF TV29 my neck of the woods when it came WTXF in 1988. BTW, John DeBella from WMMR and now WMGK
Man childhood memories.😭😭😭😭
Thundercats Beserkers-these guys shouldve been intro'd into the show
Funtastic World Of Hanna Barbera-Galtar & The Golden Lance :HB's answer to Thundarr?
Honey Smacks-guess Wally was to this what the Rabbit was to Trix
He-Man-looked more like"I only wrestle when i must"@3:44
Spaghetti-O's-before Urkel and the"Urkel O's" cereal
The New Gidget-"Call me KEMOSABE!!!"
Wally the Bear replaced the Dig 'em Frog because they wanted a mascot more closely associated with honey. Dig 'em was brought back by the end of the year due to popular demand.
Edit: I should read the comments before posting, as this fact has been explained multiple times already. Sorry.
That's ok.
In my head canon Wally Bear was later the star of his own unlicensed Nintendo game: ua-cam.com/video/ihJo0jmX9gk/v-deo.html
An ‘80s Honeycomb commercial without the robot? How dare they.
I believe those were first aired starting around mid 1987. This is a bit too early for them to show up.
Fucking love all of Your compilations man! 😎☑️✌🏻
