Caro Pedro, não são regras da TAP mas sim da indústria. No pós 11 de Setembro passou a ser obrigatório a porta do cockpit ser trancada do início até ao fim do voo, salvo raras excepções. Cumprimentos!

One more great video! I’ve just purchased ElAl787…and this TAP’s new one arrives. Great. Interesting to note the TOGA power on the take off from Lisbon. Rarely pilots use that setting. Probably too heavy with tons of cargo load. Great
For every one ‘complaining’ that they are still using paper while flying in a modern plane… keep in mind that this is necessary! If the electronics fail or they find themselves in an area where signals and radars are jammed (ie: flying over Ukraine/Russia), they have to rely on the old typical manual papers. I doubt this will change anytime soon.
Everyone in Portugal complains about the fact that TAP is a public company and everyone pays for it bla bla. But fact is: TAP = safest in Europe, 5th in the world, cheap prices, people who work with passion including pilots and crew members.
@@nicoroz6912 I think only charts are not allowed the rest, performance, AFM, MEL thats probably allowed. I know from experience that do have a performance software in their efbs. Ive seen them use it. As for the fact that they dont charts in them. Dont Know.

I FLEW ON THIS PLANE!!! My first flight to Lisbon from Newark in October 2021. Wonderful flight for a wonderful trip. Only about a third full at the time. I imagine they’re packed now. I didn’t realize this was THE first A330NEO, although I remember wondering about that at the time. Really cool to know! I still have the takeoff video, maybe I will post that…

Hello... We did not film the Qatar A350... We did however film their B747-8, B777-200F, B777-300ER, B787 and A380... those will be released later this year.
TAP A330 with the goggles is a beautiful machine. But look at how Boeing has modernized their digital instrumentation but Airbus is still sticking with the "tried and true" 80s design?
Boeing became a second rated company, neglecting safety and the best standards, the 737 Max affair would never be allowed at Airbus, who cares about Boeing digital instrumentation when their planes are crashing all over the place
I actually think Airbus has done a wonderful job and the A330neo is one fantastic aircraft. Boeings are great too off course but absolutely nothing wrong with the A330neo, will be a very successful aircraft for many airlines.

When an aircraft is over 300K Lbs they add the word heavy after the call sign, it lets other aircraft know behind them that they have a "heavy" plane in front and ATC plans a different separation depending on what type of plane is behind them.... The A380 being heavier uses the word "super".

Tap uses EFBs but they do not allow the use of charts in them.

It depends. On the A330 it is stored in the wing. On the A320 for instance, it is stored on the fuselage forward of the Landing Gear bay.

Always in English. They may speak in portuguese if it's something non related to the flight.
