I am so pleased to see you using quotes from John Muir. He grew up on a farm in the Wisconsin county I now live in. There is a beautiful nature trail to walk where the Muir family once lived and farmed. This trail has been returned to a natural state and is lovely to walk in all seasons.
I've watched hundreds of videos, many on journals, and I'm just learning to make them at 77 years young! Of all of the beautiful albums I've seen, this one has jumped to the top of my like list. In fact it made my "love it" list. It's is absolutely beautiful. You are a very talented lady and an inspiration to anyone of any age. Keep up the wonderful work and continue to share with us. The eco dying is just fantastical watercoloury magic, while the ephemera is sheer natures beauty on steroids while being much, much better than any nature book/magazine out in trade form. The colours are rich, vibrant, deep, full and lush. This is truly a treasure in the truest sense of the word. A very, very lucky recipient indeed.

Oh Jibid....this is the most beautiful ! Your colour sense is so on par. Stunning combinations of muted and 'muddied' colours. (I hope that didn't sound insulting...I just happen to love 'muddied' colours) They are such a true representation of nature's palette. I love how you combine and attach rich coloured page 'edges' to plain paper. I could go on all day.......perhaps I should just sum it up, by saying your attention to detail is enviable.

I Love this "Woodland" journal. The person that received it will feel the togetherness of them & the woodland. The smallest pieces of paper & sayings were the ones that stood out most to me, almost personal with the sayings, pictures together with the one that writes in it. I did get a giggle when you were describing the cloth on the front of the book and referred to one area as "Stalky planty things." Sounds liked how I describe my work all the time. Hi Jibid, everything's as gorgeous as ever. I tried to get some Alfred Wainwright books second hand in Australia but no go. I found a new set of seven books for a good price on Amazon. I wanted to get just one to look inside but have all seven. They are true gems, just as you say. I didn't know people actually try to complete all the walks , "The Wainwrights", and that some very young people (children) have completed them. Looking forward to dreaming my way through these books. Thanks for mentioning.
