This particular journal has sold quickly on posting this video, however I have another one that I have been working on 'side by side' which is very similar, I don't plan to do a second video but i have now posted it for sale on my website where there are also some cover pics. A long hard Winter indeed! The weatherman said it has been 6months since Michigan has experienced temps in the mid-fifties. Lack of Sunlight, draws us down! Love that you are getting back to the creative soul; love your creations Jibid!

Wow! I am always astounded by how much you pack into your beautiful journals. Every page is a work of art! You've really captured the feeling of meadow in your embroideries too! So inspired and at the same time feeling overwhelmed. I can empathise with the struggle to keep going in winter, especially as it sounds like it's been super challenging for you. I am gobsmacked! No need from your “fans” perspectives to be at any loss of confidence in yourself- you continue to shine untarnished in our eyes! I have watched and watched for your return to the public, but also am very aware of your need, as an artist, to rebuild your muse! We are a selfish lot who think mainly of ourselves and our need to hear and see you..and when possible to own your works! After receiving my beautiful herbarium samples, I wrote to let you know how pleased I was to own your pieces and how sad I was that I missed your note about the herbarium book ( and how I wish intensely to be on a list for your next set when ( and if) you make them)....when I received no reply, I should have realized there was a serious back story! Now, I am, like the rest, thrilled to see you back, hoping you build your mental and physical strength with the return of Spring! Good to have you back after your travails. Peter Ustinov once pointed out that after the Dark Ages, the Italians came out with the most beautiful art in the Renaissance. Beauty is always more inspiring and meaningful after dark times.

You are my favorite person that I subscribe to. I’ve been going through withdrawal symptoms since you’ve been gone. Today when I logged on and saw you had a new video I literally gasped out loud. I was so happy! Your journals are so beautiful and stunning. Anytime anybody asks me what a junk journal is I show them one of your videos. And they also are stunned. I aspire to make something as beautiful as one of your journals. I hope you’re doing well. You are multi talented. And I’m sure you’ve heard this before but you really, really should consider writing a novel. (I’m a screenwriter myself.) You are a wonderful writer as well as an artist. I’m so glad you returned to UA-cam, I’m sure I’m not the only person who has really missed you and your books. And as an American I can say that I love your “accent” and your sense of humor.

I am blown away with the amount of detail and attention you have put into this journal, every journal you make. If I read the sad story then I must watch a comedy so maybe later. I didn't skip the beginning just listened while my cat, who thinks she is small enough to sit on my shoulder tried to get herself comfy. I've yet to see any journal as original and beautiful as yours! Really! You put in SO-O-O much work! I am so glad to NOT see scrapbook paper (as beautiful as they can be). If you still feel a loss of confidence, sit down and list all the skills and talents it takes to put together your creations. such as being able to use color and balance, patience to work of each project and judge what to use in the journal. When you're finished, thank God for giving them to you and for creating YOU. Think about it....there is NO ONE like you...at all! Special hugs to you.

Your watercolor flowers...so sweet. Matilde's story and artwork, precious. It was like a Beatrix Potter venture....sheer delight.

This is an exquisite journal, and the accompanying story is hauntingly beautiful. I was so inspired by you that, as soon as my six year old grandson was back from school, we boiled avocado pits and peels to make dye for cloth and paper. Like magic, they turned everything a lovely shade of dusty rose. All three of my grandsons were amazed, and the ten year old said, "Avocado pits? How is that even possible?" Thank you, Jibid. ~Vicki
