I am so inspired by this beautiful woman! I am a 62 year old woman and also an artist. I've been living in Florida in my 2009 Kia Rondo and am saving to buy a Grand Caravan so I can travel west. Someday, hopefully, I can upgrade to an awesome van like Hannah's.

I can't believe she's 80! I am 57 now and was inspired by a lady who is now 73 or 74 (I believe she was 70 when I saw her vantour)...same thing, I thought "kudos to her! If she can do it, so can I"...ended up meeting her at a vanlife meetup in 2022 and have been friends ever since, even celebrated Christmas and NYE in the desert in Arizona (just outside Quartzsite). Don't let age, or fear of the unknown, prevent you from LIVING your life instead of just EXISTING. Thanks for sharing!

I also am 89 (in 2 days), I love to write childrens stories, (not published yet), I am still trying to build out my cargo camper, and we both love camping and traveling! I'll soon be buying her book. There's no time like the present. We live in the best possible time ever to be a nomad. Take your work on the road with you - you won't regret it. If you don't think you have a skills you need to work remotely, start searching UA-cam for opportunities because people are teaching things for free that will more than support you comfortably. You never know how many years you have to live so don't put it off!

I’m an artist and miniaturist who would love to travel in a roving art studio. I’m not in my 80s-I hope to be someday!-but I think it could be a couple of decades before I’m free to live the sort of life I’d enjoy, and every now and then I feel the urge to give up on dreaming about it. Which is all to say, Thank You for sharing your van and experiences with us and for the inspiration 🙂

@@PulpParadise Thank you for the words of wisdom! Right now I’m the caregiver for a parent-but maybe with occasional help at home I can sometimes be a weekend or one-week nomad 😊
Why not do some traveling and adventures with what you have and with any time you have off, now. It doesn't have to be far from job and obligations and it doesn't have to be overnight even. Start small there are things to see and do everywhere. Get out and live.

Love her artwork. When I saw the bear I thought her work would be great illustrating a children’s book. Same for the picture of the crows. All her work has such life and a bit of mystery to it.

I love seeing this. I'm going to finished converting my rig and on the road full time in about a year. I'll be almost 64. I'm in great health and I imagined myself being out there for many years to come! I am also an artist and love to do very big pieces and am now getting myself used to doing smaller work, so I am just thrilled to hear from Hannah.

I will be 62 in November and when I retire I really do want to maybe do this lifestyle. I've had my shuttle bus since 2020 it's pretty much done. I keep thinking that God... I'm going to be too old to do it after I retire but she's making me not feel that way anymore lol!
I may still keep my house and rent it out while I go travel. Maybe make it a Airbnb I don't know...

I love these stories, especially of (older) women. They show that you can live a good life out there and travel the country. I see that happening also more and more here in Europe. They are retired or quit their jobs or have location independent jobs, they sell their houses, buildout a van and travel in Europe and further.

Dang! I wish I looked so good. I just turned 74. I got hurt a couple of years ago. I have aged a great deal since then. Im working my way back. Cutting trees the last few weeks. With a lot of breaks.

She ride a Harley Davidson road King Save travels to her summer house in Mexico City unbelievable. I live in Upstate NY and when my cousin her son sent me video of them riding I was impressed big smile 😊. Thank you for sharing Hannah and Bob. I'm 58 and I'm thinking about coming down that way Bob so I'm going to get in touch with you because it's something I like to do I was born in Tucson but raised in Upstate New York. Just wanted to know if you could stay where you're at year-round and what the price would be you know cuz I'm on SSI and I'd like to sell the house and downsides and just grab my travel trailer and head back West and live but I'm looking for a year round and a clean place like your's Bob.
I guess this dates me but I was singing a Richie Havens song Freedom at Woodstock in 1969 while watching this video
