Not only do you need different writers but you need a Director that understands how to make a movie terrifying and before Jonathan Beck is 90 years old he hast to come back or the make up has to look exactly like the make up for the first two movies not a $35 makeup kit And an actor

Creeper throwing the body down the hole in the intro of the first movie is one of the best horror scenes ever shot.
It was! Since it was the middle of the day, it made the scene!
I felt like the long stare after it threw the bodies and the creeper got in the vehicle made that scene so intense
For some reason that scene made it really feel like I was there riding by seeing that myself
For me it's when he's on top of the cop car. You find out it's not a serial killer but a monster.
So iconic for me.
I saw JC: Reborn in a FULL theater on it's one-night Fathom Event in theaters. The whole crowd seemed curious and mildly excited before it started, but less than halfway through, there was a strong feeling that no one wanted to be there. I saw multiple walk outs. I stayed till the end. It was one of the absolute worst movies I've ever seen in the theater.

I fell asleep during the creeper raffle. Woke up when they impaled the creeper with the cross. I apologize to the guy next to me saying "I'm so sorry if I was snoring loud" he says "no worry man, the movie was fucking ass either way"
And darn thing made no sense. What was the visions she was having and why? What was the significance of the crows all the sudden. And the Stu guy felt like a loose end the writers forgot to kill off and were like "oh yea he's still alive. Have the birds push him off somehow"

This film was a colossal bungle. It looked like a cheap SYFY channel movie. Such a shame.

Despite not being the best movie in the franchise, "Jeepers Creepers 3" at least tried to expand upon the lore and offered more details about the creature, and I wish they had followed this path instead of trying a bad and unnecessary reboot.
At least it added that his truck has traps on it. This one adds nothing memorable.

Taking Victor Sava out of the franchise couldn't save this film. It was bland and boring. Still. I enjoyed the first two movies and the Creeper creature. Also, there's a lot of promotion for Horror Hound in the film.
Taking him out is exactly what gave us this mess of a 4th movie, lol.

It took me a legitimate week to finish this film, I never thought I would see a movie that bad. I wish I was exaggerating
I watched part of 3. I remember 2 things about it: Excitement to see it because I really enjoyed the first 2, and the utter disappointment that unfolded. Stopped early and never looked back.

Yup, no company would back Victor Salva because of his past so number 3 was released on SyFy.

Jeepers creepers reborn makes Jeepers creepers 3 look like a masterpiece.
I really enjoyed the original, but since Salva's crimes came to light, i can't bring myself to watch it. No matter how hard they try to distance the franchise from him, he'll always taint it and always get money from future entries as the creator of that character. I just can't bring myself to financially suppoet a nonce. No shade on people who can still enjoy the films though.

He was convicted of these crimes back in the 80s, so almost everyone already knew about his crimes when Jeepers creepers was completed.

One time a girl i knew was talking to me and my freind skylar. She was asking if we knew what scene a tik tok she saw was from. She described two people in a car on a road and a giant truck comming behind them and crashing into them and honking. I said it was from jeepers creepers and skylar said that that was his favorite movie. So me and him were talking about the first two for a while them we both agreed the new one absolutely sucked because this discussion happened about a week after the new one came out. I still havent rewatched the new one and probably never will.

I wasnt a big fan of horror as a kid but the set up was kind of like a thriller and as the movie progressed even though i was terrified i couldnt look away.
I hated Part 3 when it came out because I was expecting more, much more, and way better. Well, Reborn changed all of that. It made me LOVE Part 3. It's a masterpiece compared to it.
One of the coolest concepts for a horror villain ever, it really is a damn shame. Hopefully down the line soon we can have a bigger budget company give this some good writing and production.

I've always been a huge Jeepers Creepers fan. I watched both JC 3 & Reborn in the theatres. Reborn makes the 3rd look like a masterpiece. It's sad that this movie which we thought was the revival of the series, became the final nail in the Creeper's coffin.

I’m sure there are a ton of big name horror writers and directors that would love to expand on this IP. The problem is; the IP is stigmatized. If any big name writer/director were to touch it, people would go into cancel mode. It’s a shame really. There’s still so much story left to tell with The Creeper.

Victor salva knew what he was doing because he created it with the twisted perverted brain he has but his is a classic and one of the best creepiest horror movies ever made. I respect the movie not the man
I remember trying to watch this, but I just couldn't finish it. The acting is terrible and it looked like they had a 5 dollar budget for all of the special effects. They turned the creeper into walking trash bags, it was just soo bad.

Jeepers Creepers 1&2 will always be my favorites.
I really thought there was nowhere to go but up after Jeepers Creepers 3 but Reborn actually did it, it's unbelievably bad in every way it could be bad. They couldn't even film the actors just outside by the woods. Even COVID can't excuse stuff like that. It was already confusing seeing who was hired to make it based on their prior experience but it couldn't have gone worse. Sadly between this and the scandal, Jeepers Creepers is probably dead and buried.
I read that blumhouse is waiting for the court case for the rights is over before bidding for it and that they want to do a reboot like they did with the first Halloween movie that came out a few years ago

The problem with 4 is the creeper is someone who hunts based on fear. A horror festival would probably taste like artifical sugar for him. If they wanna fix it, turn 4 into a double meta joke, the line "3 actually" becomes so bad its funny if Trish made the movie for the purpose of pissing off the creaper.
The 2nd film was just a creepy director satisfying his love for teenage boys with their shirts off.

Reborn was FUCKING TERRIBLE... Atrocious you can even say.. watched it with an Ex-girlfriend maybe a day or 2 after release. Hated EVERY damn part of it... Keep in mind the first movie is probably my absolute favorite horror movie and scared the living shit out of me when I was about 6 in 01 and did love the sequel but not like the first but even the sequel is STILL a high ranking horror movie for me. Maybe even my top 2nd favorite possibly. The third absolutely dropped in quality all around.. but EVEN that terrible movie was SOOOOOO much better then Reborn! Such a sad Denise to such a damn amazing franchise with so much lore to be expanded upon....

I honestly feel like Hollywood is just trying to bury this franchise because it doesn't help that the creator of the film series Victor salva is a child predator so instead of Hollywood taking this property away from him and getting somebody who's on the same level of being able to write the creepers character the way it normally feels they just ruined it but I can see why they made me never want this movie to come back because there was a lot of terrible things like I said Victor salva did and maybe they just want this movie to get a race because his name will forever be tied to it

A good Creeper story requires a real budget to get real fx, a real story and real actors. The first 2 had acting and character development.
It's very rare for me not to finish watching a horror film. But I couldn't get through this one. And I love the first two Jeeper Creepers films. But this one was just bad. Still, I'm glad I watched this video confirming my thoughts about this does not need to exist sequel.
it needs to just reinvent itself and slightly reboot. either pick up right after 1 or 2 since 2 picked up in 2003 i think. so it can be made by 2026 to stick with the 23 year tie in somehow
