  • In this video I will be looking at the Longer Ray 5 Laser engraver that was provided to me free of charge to review. This is a 5.5W fixed focus diode laser with a built in touch screen so it can operate without being connected to a computer. I briefly show unboxing and review assembly and show a few simple engravings and an impressive cut. If you would like to get the Ray 5 please check out the affiliate link below!

I do like these product review videos. Whether I’m in the market for a particular piece of gear at the time or not, I still like seeing what’s out there. When you do these solicited reviews do you remain impartial? Cheers, Rick

Hey Rick, 100% impartial yes. I do bring up anything I don’t like when there is something. Thank you for watching!

Well now you have me curious? Been using a LaserPecker on my bowls for several years but might have to consider an addition for more detailed flat work? Thanks again for the inspiration and info. Stay well. Cheers from MT

This one is pretty decent. I am not sure if there is a y axis attachment for round objects or not. I appreciate you watching!
