Tbh that Notre Dame vs USC game is going to be a huge deciding factor for the playoffs, especially for the lower seeding. Assuming neither team flops prior to that game, they’re both going to be basically if not truly Top 10 teams in the AP poll, USC has a fighting chance at going to a championship game but they’re most likely getting in through record, so I think that’s going to shed a lot of light on what the playoffs will look like
Nah you can't have Navy at no chance, and if UNLV beat Boise in the regular season , but then lost to them in the MW championship game , then UNLV wouldn't be the G5 representative , unless they were ranked in the top 11
Whoever gets the 5 seed gets a super favorable path (almost even better than the 1 seed) with the G5 champ (plus an on campus CFP game) and the lowest ranked P5 champ. The 8/9 winner might even be a tougher game for #1 than that 4/5 game.
It's barely 25 percent of the way through the season!!! Lol As a die hard Nittany Lions 🦁 fan, I laugh because anything can happen even to us, upsets happen always!!! WE ARE
Winner of Texas A&M vs Missouri will make the playoff the other team will miss because of the schedules. A&M has home games against LSU and Texas and a road game against South Carolina, and they win 2 out of 3 of those maybe shock Texas if they figure out what they’re doing at quarterback by that time. Missouri has a road game against Bama that’s probably a loss but no other games that you really say “oh no upset alert that’s a tough matchup” (I’m not taking Oklahoma seriously this year and South Carolina isn’t well coached enough to upset Mizzou even if the talent is there) Neither team will make the conference championship because of Tennessee Bama and Texas there’s gonna be 2 teams undefeated and a 10-2 A&M squad with losses to notre dame and Texas is making it and an 11-1 mizzou sqaud with a loss to Bama is DEFINITELY making it
Missouri could legitimately go 11-1 or 10-2. The three toughest games on their schedule are at Texas A&M thus week, at Alabama on late October, and Home vs Oklahoma (after a bye week) on 11/9. A 1 loss Mizzou team gets in. Maybe a 2 loss Mizzou does too, depending on how other teams shake out.
16:56 from what I am aware of the Group of 5 team has to be a conference champion so unless UNLV is in the top 10-11ish they arent making the playoff based on what your saying.
I understand why but GT has a good chance at beating Miami and Notre Dame and honestly until Bama just beat them have been the closest to beating GA in the regular season
I’m not even a Georgia fan but I 100% know they are making the playoffs bc they aren’t losing another game if they play like they did in the second half against bama
You can't say "they aren't missing the playoffs" then proceed to sat "if they play like the did in the 2nd half" , it's either you know they're making it 100%, or you THINK they will make it , if they play like they did in the 2nd half against Bama
Lemme reword for you. Georgia will make it even if they lose to Texas. Ole miss sucks so Georgia will most likely win and Tennessee will be a home win for the dawgs (even if they lose 3 games they still make it)
Great video but if UNLV doesn’t win the MWC, there’s no chance they’ll make it since the G5 representative is going to be a conference champion. Yes technically they could get an at-large, but I doubt it.
Ehhh a sloppy win against a Texas A&M team that feels like 1 bad loss away from spiraling when they had a qb that was playing injured doesn’t inspire confidence. oh, and they lost to NIU.
@@PanthersFan44 Alright I think that ND has a lot to prove but the first game of the season AT A&M, as betting underdogs, with a brand new OC, DC, and QB, and coming out with a double digit win?
