Been living in Alabama 77yrs. These storms are no joke!!! They don't care how young or old you are, how pretty or ugly you are, how rich or poor you are, how good or bad you are...they are equal opportunity storms and we take them seriously in the South!!! 😢
Man o man! Hate that siren sound! Stay safe everyone! Our daughter lives near Memphis and close to the town siren which is tested every week. We are in California and get about 4 seconds on our phone for an earthquake warning that demands you “Drop, Cover and Hold on”! Then our son in Pacifica got his first ever tornado watch on his weather app just a few days after the tsunami warning! And then there are the fire alerts for those in more susceptible areas…. What a load Mother Nature likes to throw at us (pretty sure it’s payback for our human behavior over the years)

Marianna, FL is close enough to where you are that we get many of the same weather patterns and storms. We're all safe here, too. God has His hand on us.
I noticed that the dishes on your step stayed where they were the whole time. I thought maybe they might blow off. Happy that you are safe and your house is still standing. The Lord was protecting you.
I live in Florida and we took a direct hit from hurricane Ian and Milton and the placemats on our lanai didn’t move an inch even with constant 100+ mph winds along with strong gusts it’s crazy how things happen like this 🤷♀️ Mother Nature is a beast!!
As a former Northerner, I miss the full-size basements we had. Great for hiding out during major storms. Here in the south, with only a crawl space, we can only hide out in the middle of our homes, not near windows or outer walls. So glad you and the kitty krew are safe. Had quite a night in WCentral GA .weather radio kept going off starting at 2AM. Luckily had no damage, just a lot of wind and rain.Outside cats huddled in their bunker but all ok. Glad you made it through.Praise God for his protection.

It hot awfully quick!! I called my daughter in Hope Hull because they don't hear sirens where she is at...then it wasn't far from me. Then I called my brother in auburn to wake them up because it moved into their territory next. Glad you and the kitty's are ok. ❤😊
Mr Tom.... I have always lived in the northeast And I can't imagine what all of The tornado situation was about. For most of my life I was in Buffalo New York I could tell you many stories about lake effect snow. Now I am in south east Connecticut and can tell you about nor easters. But nothing I have lived through Compares To a tornado.... So glad you and the kitties are ok...❤💪Stay strong

Not true. Ferals can be socialized. I know because I spent a couple of years working with colonies in a swamp. They are amazing. They will come in if they choose to do so. They must trust and I am not saying whether they should or should not do so since every situation is different. The ones I worked with were losing their habitat. ❤ Prayers for all.

I have a busted eardrum and have not been able to hear thunder and raindrops in months, even with a hearing aid. So I plugged earbuds in the phone and heard those raindrops and thunder. The sound was wonderful. I'm glad you're safe, Mr. Tom. I will be listening to this video often. Thank you.

We had the same storms in Louisiana. One tornado passed over my house, luckily it did not touch down. I was so scared being alone with three dogs. But, God kept us safe. I’ve already lost part of my roof once this year, in the spring.

California girl born and raised here in the San Francisco bay area (Alameda) on an island lol but my Mom was from Oklahoma in the NE part,Westville, I spent the first 15 years of my life back there for most of the summertime and the rest of the year here. Back then we were fearless! 😂 hell when the tornado siren went off we would go look for it lol except my Dad,he was chicken 😂 but now at 62? I don't like storms like this. I went to Walmart and bought large totes with lids.My husband made openings in the ends with flaps and put straw inside.The feral cats have been sleeping and staying in them.Its been snowing raining and cold in the teens.They are surviving in the bad weather in these cheep totes.

Welcome to the south where we have tornados at Christmas because we don't have winter. It gets a little chilly for mid January and February. Then back to HOT and then we have hurricanes. Sometimes we have hurricanators.
