Hello brother! Nice video. I’m between the Bose Soundlink Flex and the new BeatsPill, I already listened the Flex and I like the deep bass it have, with your experience, the BeatsPill have a better sound and deeper bass than the Flex? Or the Flex sounds better? I hope you can help me.

I own both, the Pill plays noticeably deeper than the Flex. Both speakers have a completely different tuning. The Bose sounds warmer with stronger mids and slightly recessed highs. While the Pill has brighter highs, less mids and deeper bass. Can’t comment on the Flip 6 as I don’t currently own one.

@@lewis02mc Thanks a lot for your feedback. Between those two, if you need to keep one, which one you choose?

@@ivansilvas I’d personally choose the Pill over the Flex, both sound good for their size but I enjoy the more dynamic/fun sound from the Pill over the smoother sound from the Flex. The Pill also has twice the advertised battery life of the Flex and it has a handy power bank feature which is an added bonus. Neither sound particularly great at max volume (most small speakers don’t) so if that’s important to you I’d maybe look elsewhere. Below 85% volume is where these smaller speakers sound their best.

Beats can play lower frequencies, has more treble(the highs) but more distortion at max volume
Bose has less treble which gives it a warm signature but honestly that sounds really good and pleasant to the ears. It also has more bass and less distortion at max volume.
I ended up keeping up the Bose because the bass is a big factor for me. I didn't really care for the highs that the Beats offered. Plus I think the Bose sounds more musical as in it makes music sound very pleasing. At max volume the Bose completely beats the Pill. The highs of the pill makes it unbearable at max volume while the Bose still sounds pleasing warm and has noticeable bass while the Pill loses bass.

@@108mtsan I can absolutely agree that the Bose retains a decent amount of bass at higher volumes for its small size. I do think the Pill becomes overly shrill sounding at max volume and it tends to produce pumping artifacts which isn’t pleasant. In saying that though, to my ears the Bose isn’t great at max volume either. While it does retain some bass, my unit sounds pretty compressed and jumbled at max volume, with some slight but noticeable intermodulation distortion audible. This is most likely due to the Flex only having a single full range driver instead of a separate woofer and tweeter setup as shown on the Pill and other similar speakers like it. I think the Pills ability to play surprisingly deep for a speaker its size from mid to mid-high volumes is impressive which is why I personally favour it over the Bose. I can definitely understand the appeal of the Bose’s sound signature though, it’s smooth, warm and easy on the ears, though not the most engaging listen imo. I wouldn’t choose either for max volume listening personally, both fall apart a fair amount when played loud as is the norm for most speakers this size.
