Awesome to see Dave Ricks still killing it. I was stationed with him at MCAS Iwakuni Japan back in 94-96. Awesome presence in the gym and he really helped me clean up my squat and deadlift form. I still have his program that he gave me at the gym one day. Pulled my first 405 deadlift using it.
I really think Stan is at the top of the fitness industry. I love everything he has to say and I literally have never heard him say a single thing that I don't agree with or haven't also seen for myself.
using stan efferdings rants and the programming approach from the juggernaut trainingsystem brought me from a 500lbs deadlift to a 700lbs in 8 months and still natty. Thank you very much for your content.
Just wanted to let you know the audio in the GRIND ads doesn't seem balanced ideally. The music overpowers the voice so I can turn it down to where I don't hear the voice but the music is still clear.
Many times bones hurting when you are getting sick is not your actual structural bones hurting but the internal bone hurting from producing a mass amount of antibodies.
"4 hours a day, seven days a week." HAHAHA, I couldn't stop laughing, that was my intro into lifting as well. Lifted for a year on Arnold's protocol and no calories, wondering why I wasn't going anywhere until I found the powerlifting community. And then it was just like, ohhhhh, eat big and get stronger.
Awesome video!! and I can I just say that the Rhino has the most symmetrical bald head ever. Chad you can only hope to match him someday. #haircomplex haha
I don't agree with Stan Efferding's stance on red meat. Everything else he says is pure gold. Time and time again I get amazed when listening him. I learn something even, if its the little things.
Jake H. In what aspect? In terms of strength, red meat is superior. It naturally contains creatine as well as tons of vitamins and minerals. That is what he was saying. And it is true. As healthy as white meats? Maybe not.
Ryan Turner There isn't any proof that saturated fat and cholesterol help with serum T. There is only like 3 grams of creatine on 1 kg of red meat, which is very little and the heme iron causes colorectal cancer. I would rather get my calories from safer sources.
Stan I understand exactly what you mean when you say train less and recover more, but how do explain guys like CT Fletcher who claims he trained arms everyday to get his 22" arms naturally?
It's sad that a video like this only gets 24,000 views in 5 days, while videos from Jason Blaha can reach over 15,000 views in 4 days. I guess there's just not enough hyped up drama in this video to garner more views. Sad, just sad.
The most important thing to remember about Blaha videos is that the majority of the views are from people who watch his videos purely to troll in the comments section.
I love Stan, but the stuff about horizontal and vertical dieting is a hole lotta broooo science. Let's ask the renaissance guys what they think of these dietary concepts.
When you're like me and your sleep and diet aren't the best because you're working full time, going to grad school full time, have a wife in her third trimester and you still manage to have a series of really productive meso cycles, it just makes you that much hungrier for what you can do after the semester ends and 8 hour sleep nights are no longer a strange fantasy, you actually have time to cook food and you can stop drinking roughly double your normal caffeine intake just to get through your days. On the note of the hard workers with discipline and good planning working next to those who are just more gifted and end up achieving more.... It made me think of a certain dynamic between two characters, and I'm showing my nerd here, but every gifted 'Hatake Kakashi' level person always benefits from having a 'genius of hard work' sort of 'Might Gai' rival or partner to push them and ensure they never become complacent in their natural ease at something.
The majority of people are in a graduate university program while also working full time in the field of their undergraduate program? Cause last I heard only 10-12% of the US population even has a graduate degree period. You should go tell someone this because people still believe the silly statistics about the population's education level from disreputable sources such as the government census: www.census.gov/content/dam/Census/library/publications/2016/demo/p20-578.pdf Perhaps I succeed because I feel good from lifting weights, not being an ass on the internet.
It's not ego, it's the reality of the situation. People who are getting by by working really hard to get where they want to be in life just don't suffer people's jealous bullshit pulled from their ass on the internet very well.
Not even an hour in, and this Stan guy is impressive: a mix of life wisdom, business philosophy, and lifting.
Seriously great podcast.
Thanks
I was at the edge of my seat this whole video waiting for Stan to pitch the Kooler...
"The things other people do to you are less effective than the things you do to yourself." That's a real pearl.
Just love how studious and respectful Max and Chad are to Stan. Two amazing coaches still willing to listen
When Stan talks, you listen.
Every time.

How is it possible for one podcast to be so handsome?
Adam Bean Who's mom is this?
This should be obvious if you spent any time on the internet, but it's your mom of course.
Love listening to this podcast. :) Always has great content.
Damn, this intro is hilarious. And I tend to dislike long intros. But this one...
Stan is great. Thanks for having him on.
Damn, its hard to picture Rhino at 130 lbs 😂
This is one of the best Jugglife podcast so far. So much knowledge and wisdom in just a little over 1 hour

Just wanted to let you know the audio in the GRIND ads doesn't seem balanced ideally. The music overpowers the voice so I can turn it down to where I don't hear the voice but the music is still clear.
I agree, the voices during the podcast need to be turned up. I have my volume turned up too high just to barely hear them.
I think that's a separate issue. I heard their conversations in the podcast just fine. I'm just saying the ads don't seem mixed very well.
Who's big spoon and little spoon in Chax Smaita
Chad is little spoon, 100% needs to be cared for and caressed.
holy shit those comments have me crying lmao
New to this podcast, but love the intro!
Lots of info infilled with golden tidbits as always from STAN the MAN!

Željko Stan isn't as big as he used to be tho
i have honestly been going back through the episodes of the jugglife to see the "it's a lifestyle" jokes
Many times bones hurting when you are getting sick is not your actual structural bones hurting but the internal bone hurting from producing a mass amount of antibodies.

Think Brokeback Mountain meets Rocky.

Awesome video!! and I can I just say that the Rhino has the most symmetrical bald head ever. Chad you can only hope to match him someday. #haircomplex haha
Be fun to see Podcasts with more of the Juggernaut team such as Pope or Burns or Kristen etc...
Where is the music sample from for the Virus ad? Shit it tiiiiiiigggghhhht.

I laughed at first when Stan made a joke about having a shredded six pack while being able to squat 900 lbs, but then I realized...

killin it!
There was a planet fitness add before this video. Sorry guys
Is it just me or does Max sound exactly like Mark Bell?
So when is Max going to get a Spiderman villian name?
45:00 that seems like terrible advice. But honestly look at Tesla they got sales years before a product was ready.
Glancing at the thumbnail, I thought it was Dwayne Johnson
Stan I understand exactly what you mean when you say train less and recover more, but how do explain guys like CT Fletcher who claims he trained arms everyday to get his 22" arms naturally?
You are nuts if you believed CT Fletcher never used steroids in his career

Nate
slow clap. well done you.
that's nothing special. this is what the majority of people have to live with.

Nate take the ego a few notches down
It's not ego, it's the reality of the situation. People who are getting by by working really hard to get where they want to be in life just don't suffer people's jealous bullshit pulled from their ass on the internet very well.
