I would love to play with Blske's wood too Geoffwy. Well first George, we're gonna sing a song, and its all about wood, its called the "ham shank song" Oh good, I'm all excited Geoffrey, hahahshaha. Alright Zippy, calm the fuck down, jesus wept! Anybody would think you were repressed in some way! Bungle, will you ask Jane if she will join us, and ask her to get her maracas out, its been a long long time since she has played with them? Alright Geoffrey. Now you can join in too children at home, just ask your mum, or your dad if they can find some sort of musical instrument you can play on, it could be a flute, a trumpet, or you could ask your mum to stretch some cloth, very tightly over her mixing bowl, and bang it, bang it like a pro.
Henry is Best Boi👌 We need a Hacks & Bodges Presenter Challenge with the cheap bikes. Sabotage each others bike and see who makes it out the trails without walking the bikes
I'm a 330 pound fatman who got my first bike b/c of this channel (fatbike of course). I've already broke a crank, and had a flat but using your channel I've fixed both DIY. thanks for the inspiration gents much love
Brilliant addition to the channel. Thinking Top Gear for mountain biking. For the next one let's see an ebduro bike build for used 80's-90's parts for under $300 followed up with a race.
Made me feel good. After hundreds of videos inspiring me to do things I still struggle with, its awesome so see you guys struggle with a little basic woodwork, gawd help us if you ever try welding :-D
Kwaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! Poo brown!!!! Still seriously now. Lovely episode guys. Inspirational. Almost makes me sad that I already bought a bike stand. LoL!!!!!!!
Holds a speed square, calls it a t-square. Claims 45°, inserts right angle on 90° included angle, "yep, 45..."😂 so much wrong. Very entertaining video. Thanks for the laughs.
Good job Henry. For being the first time that came up pretty good! I like Blake's foldable legs idea. Possible alternative: fold them downwards next time, so that it can still stand up with shortened legs, given the folded part would increase their height and level out the main beam. This way you can put it in a corner, but vertical and will still stand by itself :D
Love the video! I think it would be great to see this sort of DIY challenges but with the hole gmbn crew (rich, neil, Doddy, Martin) thanks for the video.
Love the work guys, but Blake, hinges - you should have oriented them so that when loaded the bike pushes the hinge shut - that way the risk of structural failure is reduced! Henry, nice try, but mate how you going to play swingball with a bird feeder and bike in the way?!
Bodge challenge, both get a snapped mech hanger and you have to try and fix the hanger and shifting as good as possible.you can not replace the hanger with a new or similar hanger if you have them in your shop or not.you are aloud to weld and stuff and you can try to use a dramatically different hanger to try and bodge. We will need to test how well the bike shifts and a strength test on how much pressure it can withstand
personally I wouldn't have made blake's design foldable, but in two separate pieces instead. One for the feet, the other for the pillar, held together by a pin or something. But this seems to work great too :)
Park work stand costs £120 second hand, £100 your takin the xxxx . New about £250 basic one as they great bits of kit. Am planning similar based on Park Stand from 3 x 2 and 2 x 4 and 12 mm ply as well. Want folding legs but will use heavy duty gate hinges and maybe a tool tray , if you can fix a bike should be able to build a work stand. Do a wee drawing first too get idea planned but be flexible on it.
I think I'll need to build one similar to Henry's, but it sucks to be living below sea level.... Attaching a wind vane to my prospect project may not be a viable option. But maybe mounting a small board or something to attach solar-powered motion sensor lights on... Hmmmm.
Which hack or bodge would you like us to attempt next? 🤔 Let us know 👇

7:00 That is bang on 45° *shows 90° angle* . :D Blake is the best. (5+3=11)
I was about to say the same thing! I think he meant 90°, therefore cut the 2 pieces of wood at 45°, but since it's Blake I'm not certain...
Lol
Haha!
“Blake is the master of playing with wood” “he loves his wood”......

I'll flip tables if those lines of Doddy's don't make it to the year's collection of outtakes.

Blake's stand is the best by it self, but Henry actually made something very good for his first time. I say they are even on this one

Hi guys brilliant video. Henry had me in tears proper school boy errors especially when Henry kicked the paint pot
Thank you fo sharing guys. It was kind of confusing but at the end of the day, I think that you´ve got what you wanted !! Cheers

Wow 30min video good thing there is a forward. Saves time.
Awesome video thanks. Next challenge could maybe be, DIY Truing stand & Truing wheels. Take care
Loved it. Bamboo bike kit competition!
Newbie to YT. Instructional posts are so helpful and informative. Thank you!😀😀
Blakey! If you hinged the legs to flip under the base it would have stood up straight when folded I recon. Love this kinda video!

A feasting swan Henry?! What a beauty 😆🤙
Why is this exactly what I needed to see in my life? QUINNEY I've missed you man, hello you beautiful people, thank you for the video!
Lol when he said I cut my legs I thought he was going to the hospital

Just started, cant wait to see results!
LOVE it guys! It was so good I almost left a "dark oak" in my trousers!

Maybe not Martin. He can commentate.
Yes! More Blake Builds challenges!!
Damn Henry out did himself 😄🙌🏼
This last week I just made my own DYI stand. This is great
Big Thanks 👍🤘
This was such a good video!!
Rich/Neil vs Doddy next!
Loved this video! You guys rock!
Ahhhhhh! The perfect afterwork vid🤟🏻🤙🏻 cheers guys!
every time I see Henry I still laugh about Thirsty Kirsty tires.
I really hope Schwalbe picks that up as a new tire!
What video is that in?
Love the work guys, but Blake, hinges - you should have oriented them so that when loaded the bike pushes the hinge shut - that way the risk of structural failure is reduced!
Henry, nice try, but mate how you going to play swingball with a bird feeder and bike in the way?!
Reminds me of the Chuckle Brothers,..." to me to you"😂😂
I was going to buy a bike stand but now i will make one. thanks guys!

Awesome bike stands lads
Henry claims he has no woodworking experience, and then quickly assembles his first lap joint with hand tools!
but then he called blakes joinery a "junction" so it checks out. i think he's just got a natural talent for woodworking :D
Nice 👍 I look forward to the next video😍
Great video guys. I think we can all agree that we all need a screwing zone in our lives. Keep safe all
Great work boys
Just brilliant 😂
I would add a grip to hold an umbrella over the stand so you could work shaded if needed.
Cool show guys! A bird feeder on a bike stand? Me an my cat can make very good use out of that💯👍😎😸
I think I’d like to do the Blake one... what’s the chance of getting the measurements for all the bits?
personally I wouldn't have made blake's design foldable, but in two separate pieces instead. One for the feet, the other for the pillar, held together by a pin or something. But this seems to work great too :)
For reference Blake it is called a speed square. 😀
Best advert for buying an actual bike stand😀😅😂🤣
This was entertaining! I might make one!
Ah yes , I'd love to play swing ball whilst building a bike🤣🤣
Great vid as always guys, keep up the awesome work🤙
Great video!

#GMBN Screwing zone please. Jokes aside, genuinely cool to see the presenters hanging out at home and having some fun!
Ask Sam Pilgrim to take part. His bike mechanic skills are legendary. So what will his bodge skills be like????
I built a bike stand after seeing Blake build the first one. Iam going to have another look at it now and rebuild it.
keep up the good work fellas
4:32 I think you mean DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles Henry😆😆😆😆😆😆 I don’t think Nick Nolte has done a UK DIY show before
Brilliant vid...v novel idea.
great finally something I can easily afford, still need a to save a bit for the bike though :)
H: small brush? PAH, I will splash the paint on!!
The birds are going to crap all over the bike when washing 😂
When is fails and bails coming? By the way good video
Going to be bird poop all over Henry's bike
Love ur videos
Nice Video boys
I like the screwing zone.
Welcome to the screwing zone.
Me and the lads are always hanging in the screwing zone
Did Henry say he'd seen Nick Nolte with a pencil behind his ear? Think he meant Nick Knowles 🤣
🙈🙈 good effort Henry 🤣
Blake should take henry on as the apprentice, and show him how all of this wood working is done. New series??🤔
0:29 I think I might stab my hat too
90 degrees Blake! 90
Nice 👍
20:20 Blake drops the F bom
Henry has my vote
GMBN continuing the tradition of doing DIY projects on the floor instead of using a table.
Blake loves playing with his wood but Henry's more interested in bringing the birds in.... Well....
Blake after a nasty drop: "OK, I've cut my legs but i want them to fold in"
O like both I will say the one on the right could be took with you so if needed during rides on a trip
Uhh! I'll be buying my own after watching this but funny though. I was waiting for Blake to add a Hamster wheel to his.
6:55. Blake do u want me to call the ambulance!!?
7:26 ohhh Blake don’t cry you just lost two of your legs you will be fine just walk it off.....wait!
Good work. But got mine for 15 euros at Aldi in Germany. Works wonders
Blake wins it's indoor and outdoor friendly where as henry is outdoor only and in the uk that gives you 2 months of use
Going to save some money with a wall mount
So now we know trigonometry wasn't Blake's best class in school!
I think I'll need to build one similar to Henry's, but it sucks to be living below sea level.... Attaching a wind vane to my prospect project may not be a viable option. But maybe mounting a small board or something to attach solar-powered motion sensor lights on... Hmmmm.
Lost it at 23:23! 😂
Best part of the video
Better for working with wood than painting :-D lol
