Thanks, I'm hooking one up soon. My car didn't come with a backup camera so I'm hooking that up for sure. Great to see how you hooked up the backup camera, nobody else showed that.
Thank you for the in depth video! I'm looking at getting one of these cameras and I'm curious how it's holding up for you. Any issues that you've had with it so far?
Thanks for the vid bro. A if I just wanted to use the rear camera more so as a rear view mirror, rather than a backup camera, would you still need to hook up that red wire for it to work? Looking at a Rexing M2 to purchase if I could just hook up that rear cam at the top, inside of the back window, and have a continuous feed. (I'm more interested in the night vision capability since my car already has a backup cam)
Yes that wire still need to be hooked up for that. Also it works great at night actually. I've had no problems looking out the rear view mirror day or night with it. Thanks for watching and your question 🙏🏾 💯
My car did come with a backup camera, but it was the blindspot detection that got me interested. Installed it today, but need to work on dat cable management. Your video is super helpful getting an idea of how to tuck the cables.

Question... the front mirror records front and rear? I'm a little confused. Or does that backup camera record for the rear?
