Great review! Can't wait till I'm traveling again to Lynchburg; dying to try small stream fishing. Steelheading in freezing water will have to do for now lol.
Hi , thanks a lot for this review 🔥🔥 . I search a rod for small stream in france. For this rod what is the best wheight of reels and what is the best fly lines for fishing small stream with this rod. Thanks a lot. ( sorry for my english may be some error )
I've used the Ross Colorado reel which is 3.2 oz., and the Orvis Battenkill II which is a little lighter (app. 2.9oz). I prefer the Colorado as it's slightly heavier and helps the rod balance a little better for my preferences. With most of my setups I like the reel to be slightly heavier as it makes my casting more comfortable. For fly lines, if you can get the Scientific Angler Creek Trout line it's my favorite for this rod when fishing small streams with tight cover! Cheers!
Looks awesome with that Ross Colorado. I'm gonna to grab myself one asap
Thank you! Just purchased this rod in a 5 wt.

We’ll done review. Loomis IMX pro creek similar?
Never mind. Getting the T&T.
Just bought one because of this review!
Is this almost like the spire?
I'm having trouble figuring out if this rod breaks down or not. Meaning, is it like three pieces or so, or is it a one piece rod?
This rod breaks down into 4 pieces! Individual rod sections are about 22”. The rod tube itself is just over 25”. Hope that helps!
Got a fiberglass rod you recommend for VA Brookies?
Between this an a Orvis Recon 2 which is better?
