This is how rod reviews should be done! Real information and detail rather than pure opinion.

Like all TFF videos, well done and great info!! I have the 11'2" 3wt . I am 61 yo, 5ft 7 - not venturing into deeper water much, so I like the extra reach. I run a full mono system with Amnesia system constructed using Lance Egan formula and find it is very accurate. I love to fish pocket water, riffles - the places most people pass by and this rod has been great.

This was the best Rod review I’ve ever seen in any category. Fly, spin, bait cast, ice, etc. Very thorough, and thought out. Thanks!

I have the 10' 2 and 10'9 3wt since release. Excellent rods, but I have a couple of issues with them.

I recently purchased the 11 ft 2 3 weight and primarily use it for big rivers which I tend to fish regularly! Landed over 20 fish first time using it , including a 20 inch and a 18 inch bow ! It’s light and really gets me out a little further! Totally love this stick ,I would highly recommend it !

The snow back ground deflection slow motion was great to see.. I always ask how rods load and bend and this will help people buy the correct rod for them. Great video Devin and team.

Awesome review. Have the 10ft 2wt and 10’9 3 wt and absolutely love them. Worth the price

Really thorough review! My 10’ 9” 3 wt (that I got from TFF) is my go-to rod; it has brought plenty of fish to the net both big and small with ease. I have another Euro rod, but the Contact II is far superior. 🎣

I'm really happy with my 11' 2" 3wt, but would love to see Devin's opinion of the Diamondback Ideal Nymph series!

Thanks Devin. Comparison with the zone 1022 and 1033 would also be really helpful.

I have the contact 1 and have not noticed any issues with glare from the rod effecting fish. Think of it this way, looking up from under the water every little ripple on the surface will create some form of glare. I think the swing and shadow of the rod are a bigger spooking factor.

I find line guide rings should be placed so fly lines follows the curve of the rod when fighting a fish so it the rod hand wrist and arm from getting sore plus easier to control fish.

Great review of the TT Contact II series. Would love to see the same type of review on the diamondback ideal nymph series!

Thanks Devin! Awesome info and analysis on the rods in their lineup. Have you tried the 6wt on lakes? Curious how that might let you use finer tippet but still have the power of a bigger rod.
