Holly I have been to the Quilted Cow many times. I have also been to their retreats. It is a wonderful place to shop and the people that run it are so wonderful. It is a family run company with Jennifer the owner, her son Anthony and daughter Larissa. They have a wonderful crew (The Cow Crew) working for them. The buyer for them is Laura and she also handles the retreats. I am proud to count them as my friends. If you get a chance watch them Wednesday evening - they are a hoot!!! Stay warm and sew on!!!

I wasn't expecting a new video today, and a new subscription to boot! What a wonderful start to a chilly Tuesday. Ya know, I used to feel silly sitting here doing the breathing, and now it's something I look forward to. Sometimes I will add some gentle stretches to the exhale. Now, on to the box! As soon as you opened it and I saw the gripper, I knew it was going to be good. While not everything is exactly to my taste (how DARE they, LOL!!!), everything looks to be high quality & as if they put thought into curating the box. That zipper pull is absolutely perfect for the butterfly bag, and including the batting gets an A+++. You really got your money's worth with this one for sure. Quilted Cow gets two hooves up from me🐮
The quilted cow was a great box. Looks like they cut the fabric so you have to do that project with that fabric. Hoping you get your snow. I was a Girl Scout leader when my daughter was young. The Girl Scout cookies sold themselves. Happy sewing

See, this is why I watch you. I never heard of the quilted cow box. It looks fantastic! I'm thinking of ditching one of my subscriptions and replacing it with this. I loved everything you showed us. I especially liked how it wasn't full of that awful aqua color that is so popular right now. The purple thing was refreshing for a notion color. Thank you Holly!
I think I like the Quilted Cow box itself better than the contents. We had a snowstorm on Sunday night with about 6 or 7 inches of snow. Now here we are two days later getting a wicked rainstorm. We may get about 3 inches of rain and high gusts of wind tonight. Just hoping we don't have any power outages. Sending Light and Love to All. Thank you for the breathing session. 🙏❤🙏

That seems to be a great new box. I haven't heard of the quilted cow before. I remember being in girl scouts. I don't remember them have such high amounts that they expected us to sell though. 😮
I think the trip is a motivator to get girls to go out and sell. On her page her original goal was 100 boxes. I can't imagine that any Girl Scout could sell 3,500 boxes, but who knows.

We got a lot of snow in downers grove Holly! I hope you did too!!! AND did you see the forecast for FRIDAY???? 5-8” during the day and 1-3” more in the evening. One report I saw said 9-12”!!!! Im sooooo excited. (I think you and I are the ONLY ones in Illinois that actually love the snow. But at least we are in good company. ❤️)

chronic pain sucks I have MS and the pain is horrible and people don't understand because you don't always look sick it just sucks, I feel for everyone and would not wish it on anyone.

When I was a teenager I read The Scarlet Letter which everyone thought was weird for me to read at the time. I liked it then, and I still like it now. I liked Ray Bradbury books then and now too. So maybe she will like it. Some people love a good scary book.
60$ a month box that i wpuld pass on . The $ they spend on the packaging they could currate a more cohesive box or lower the price. Harbor Fright sells the same exact suction cup for like 2$

That ball she has makes funny noises. It's made to insert a treat and they have to work to get it out. Keeps their doggie brains active. xo

Cambria is a real go getter! I did not like 1984, it was so disturbing. I hope she likes it. The box was a good box for people that like projects.
