Girl you are cracking me up! Well, those polka dots on the cream made me perk up immediately like "Squirrel!" What is it about a beautiful tiny polka dot - perfect for backgrounds - PERFECT! I love the Lella Boutique polka dot fabrics and this one reminded me of Vanessa's. The backing fabric had some polka dots on various pieces. I need to look up the fabric line and see the polka dots! Pretty patriotic fabrics, I'm searching for some to do a QOV for my uncle. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 HOLLY! The music is perfect for the moment of zen. I pictured the squirrel shooting the bird - pretty sure that's what the little beasties do to our cat...well, and Dave since he put hot bird seed in the feeder.

What could be niftier? (Is that a word? Well, it is now.) Lovely fabrics! The green in the second piece is the exact shade as the stone in your ring, and I love the grapevine pattern on it. The word you're looking for on the backing fabric is "tessellated" (repeating, interlocked geometric shapes with no space between them). This was a really well-curated box - wonderful way to start a rainy week.

Lovely fabric. The comment on converse reminds me of one of my girls wedding, the groom wore similar sneakers. Who looks at feet anyway. He was comfortable 😂. 😊It was outdoors in the grass.
Hi Holly, Good on you for persevering and making the most of a challenging situation! You probably get advice all the time so feel free to ignore the following. Many years ago I was dealing with chronic fatigue syndrome and participated in a study at the U of Minn Occupational School. It dealt with learning how to "bank energy" and was a really helpful study. Turns out we can "bank" energy and I am ever so grateful to the Occupational Therapists out there. Just in case it might be helpful at some point, the therapists are helpful in working with us to learn how to minimize energy output (essentially making it easier to do do things, enabling us to store energy for those times when we have something special to do). I LOVED everything in the box and I too am a fan of those telescoping magnetic pole thingies! Hugs to you from Minnesota! Fern OMG thanks for the giggles and drama! whoever did the filming and editing of Dandelion and the squirrel needs an award!

Converse All-Stars would be a tough call for me as well. This box contains great quality items, and yes, the red primitive gatherings fabric is so good! Beautiful, classic, practical, elegant, and self-assured in that gorgeous color.

I definitely think comfortable shoes are the most beautiful part of every outfit. I used to be offended by girls wearing formals and combat boots. At 68, I wish I'd worn combat boots instead of high heels! Now, my arthritis means I have to wear slip-ons! 😂😂😂 Converse all the way!
i was shocked by your fabric and background fabric as it looks nothing like mine. mine doesn’t even go together so i was confused. not that i don’t like it i love the coasters ! love the patriotic fabric! yes figuring out how to get around in difficult places is a chore many times. glad you went and your granddaughter will always remember getting her dress! i say go for comfortable shoes…lol… love the slow dog walk like that squirrel doesn’t know when to run …😅
It sounds like you had a wonderful family day. It’s annoying when we get bad information, but I am so glad you were able to walk and enjoy the time with everyone. Our lab used to chase the squirrels so much. One year close to winter when the squirrels were quite chubby, she almost got one as it tried to squeeze through the chain link fence. I was standing there in a panic that the squirrel wasn’t going to make it. She ended up with a mouthful of tail fur. I had to laugh as she spit out fur!

I really loved the fabric and I’ve been so upset with myself. (I’m not usually careless!) When you opened the plastic cover on the fabric, I checked mine and saw that the photo and pattern were right where they belonged. Not sure why I panicked before turning that sealed package over, but you have made my weekend! Thanks again!!!❤❤❤

I got ny box today abd I have different colors for the big project abd same colors for the coaster project. So glad that you were able togo to the mall and shop without being able to hace a wheelchsir. Bet you were really exhausted whwn yoi got home

Let her wear the Converse sneakers all the girls do it’s better than her wanting to wear stilettos!! my granddaughter, and all her friends only wear Converse sneakers to events they get new ones they’re clean. They’re pretty lovely colors and they don’t care what anyone else or the boys say and for me that’s making a strong woman.
