- This is a humble effort to present to you all one of the greatest ancient kings of Bharata, Pulakeshi II, using AI generated images and videos. He was a Chalukyan king who ruled over most parts of Southern Bharata during the early 7th century.
Little is known about his naval force and his battle with the Arabs. We have tried to bring to you the details of these fascinating aspects of his reign.
Correction : King Harshavardhana belonged to Pushyabhuti dynasty, I have wrongly shown it as Mauryan Dynasty.

Pulikeshi 2, the man who defeated Harshavardan and Arabs and built a solid army called Karnatabala. At his old age when his own sons started to fight amongst themselves for power, the kingdom weakened and Mahendra Verma’s(who was once defeated by Pulikeshi 2) son Narasimha Verma waged a battle. Pulikeshi 2 died fighting in the war. After 12 years his son Vikramaditya defeated Narasimha Verma’s army and re-established Chalukya kingdom.

The labours of Pulakeshiraja resulted in a wholesome defeat of the Arabs and subsequent recapture of territories in modern Gujarat and Rajasthan.
The inscription gives us a lot more information than that.

Great documentary. It is written in detail about pulakeshi 2 and his battle with pallava kings, Mahendra varman and Narasimha varman and the famous Vatapi battle in Tamil by the great writer Late Kalki Krishnamurthy.

The Aihole inscriptions mention the defeat of King Harshvardhana by King Pulakeshin II
The inscription says :
Harsha, whose lotus-feet were arrayed with the rays of the jewels of the diadems of hosts of feudatories prosperous with unmeasured might, through Him had his mirth (harsha) melted away by fear, having become loathsome with his rows of lordly elephants fallen in battle.

Pulikasi was defeated by the Tamil king (pallavas) Narasimma varma pallavan. Pallava army was led by the great Tamil caption Paranjothi. He destroyed Vadabhi
before that Pulaveshi the great defeated Mahendra Varma and chased him upto Kanchi, then later Pulakeshi -2 son Vikramaditya chased away Narasimha varma and took revenge
