I put vitamin E oil on my mustache and massage it through the pecker head wax. Then it all washes out in the shower.

A good sign that a mustache wax has a great strong/firm hold is by how uneasy it is to get out of the tin. I like Peckerhead, but I prefer Death Grip. And a heads up to all who use quality mustache waxes - apply and comb through a little beard or olive oil, let it sit for a few minutes, then gently apply some soap and comb that through your ‘stache. Nice review.

I prefer Peckerhead to Death Grip. Death Grip doesn't hold as well for my hair. But, that's why there is a variety of products on the market!

Resist the Razor - “That’s why there is a variety of products on the market” ...exactly. For me it’s the opposite; Peckerhead’s Pine RESIN ingredient doesn’t keep my curls intact nearly as long as Death Grip’s Pine ROSIN. The rosin acts more like a natural glue, which I love. And I also wanted to clarify the ending of my last comment being a way of loosening/removing waxes from the mustache during the cleaning phase ...just in case some had mistakenly thought of it as a pre-application process.

@@marloh417 I will preface this by saying i am neither a botanist nor a chemist. However, some cursory research leads me to believe pine resin and pine rosin are two names for the same substance.

Resist the Razor - same substance but ultimately a different form offering a different property ...something like water and ice. A bit of cursory research here as well.

@@marloh417 That’s how I remove waxes, sweet oil. It can be bought just about anywhere and it’s made to remove ear wax. I just apply and let it sit, then comb it out and wash in the shower. Beard oil works too, but not as good.
I haven’t tried either of these waxes, but am interested. I usually go natural with lanolin.

Any opinion on "Firehouse" moustache wax?...no ingredients posted on back of tin.

I haven't used their waxes yet. I would be wary about products without an ingredients list because you don't know what you're putting in your hair. That is especially unnerving because food and beverages come into contact with your mustache before you consume them. I would email the company and ask for an ingredients list and see what they say. Personally, I never buy a product for which there is no ingredient list.
