- How I would Play Maplestory if I had to start all over! This is without a doubt the QUICKEST FASTEST way to Maplestory Mid Game. This is the method I used when I returned to Maplestory to Fast track to Mid game. Which unlocked other Meso Making Methods.
This is the method I used to kick start my Maplestory Journey and in 1 and a half years as a F2P, I got to 50k+ Stat, buy some of the game's most sort after items such as a Firestarter Ring (45b) and even buy a Frenzy (Paid 800b).

Doing a project of starting a new account and then guiding and explaining your process would be awesome! (and for complete newbies like me, relatable!) MapleStory does feel rather daunting and complex with so many features and its min-maxing so it'd be so nice to have an experienced player teach the most optimized process!
Easy tips. Buy black gate armors with 9% of your stats then you can transfer until absolab. Easy

For brand new players I do not recommend the links/legion to do first. The most important thing for any game is to have fun so do some research of classes and pick whatever that seems fun for you at first. Then slowly do links/legion. This game isn't sprint, its a marathon.
well said. Every video I watched tells me to get Kanna or bishop mule but what's the point if I don't have fun
Well of course that’s if you want to have fun, this video is under the ideal circumstances where fun isn’t really a part of it
I get where you’re coming from, but it’s totally reasonable to do both. There’s tons of legions and links, so it makes sense to play through these different classes up to 70 or even 120, while players figure out what they want to play. Two birds one stone,
I had most fun leveling my legion to 140 noe maple is kinda boring. Just bossing every now and then.
I'm all about that long distance sprinting.
I think a first thing people need is not link skill or league but a job they want to stick with. Progression your main will get you started meso, potion ( expertly monsterpack potion) for your link character and leagues so they training to lv 130 more easy

My no.1 tip is to main a class that is from kms, nonkms classes are buggy and lack of attention. Also not too many different boost node, hayato has 23 different boost nodes while marksman has 7. The fewer different booster nodes a class has the easier you can get perfect trios. My friend open 2000 nodestones and found 0 perfect trio for his hayato. Makes progression extremely frustrating.

Honestly if anyone is starting it's going to feel as a chore at first , but doing ur legion and Link skills will help you find ur main job, source myself.

i'm not a reg server player, but like 90% of this information i applied to my fresh new start.
also i hard agree with kanna/avenger first. i regretted starting with mercedes/evan.
but definitely for newer players, i encourage them to search for fun in the game first before learning to optimize.
Do you get that much mesos from commerci in reboot? Or is it different between Reg n reboot?

I'm a new player, I find that maple tour is a good way for some easy mesos at the start. Combine this with the daily bosses, and you'll have your first 500mil-1bil mesos in no time ☺️

i recommend getting 10att bpots on all items and a lot of them can be found off the ground while doing union and then toaded up

@@mhelsen6764 dunno if you still need it but, bpots= bonus potential (only in non-reboot worlds), union is what legion is called in Korea so union=legion, and toaded up refers to the system where you can transfer the potentials and bonus potentials(bpot) to higher level items that you'd wqnt to use as you level up. I think items undet and up to lvl 100 you can transfer potentials to items 20 lvls higher that the current items, and then after lvl100 you can transfer to items 10 lvls higher than the current items you have. Hope that helped

How does doing commerci net you meso? Is it just from the sweetwater items?
This actually happened to me. I had an account since 2003, the very beginning of maplestory. For some reason nexon decided to delete accounts if they didn't log in by a certain date. I lost everything and yet I still decide to play this game.

Hey, thanks for the informative video! Just curious about the order of the link skills recommended, but isn't it better to go for Mercedes first for more exp when training the other links?
I was wondering the same thing but Merc is pretty weak, the extra damage might outweigh the exp early on.
You can do that but merc is extremely weak on a fresh account. The reason you might wanna start with kanna and DA on a fresh account is that they are strong and very easy to level on their own without any link skills plus 95% of the time they won't be using potions during leveling.
I think you forgot about lara linkskill, probably the best mobbing link skill there is

Please, I get the red osfa hat from thief today, and some items that were dropped by mobs and now they are not. some things disappeared or maple where they put them, because they don't even sell in the NPC

Where are you reading up this information at? I just got back into maple after 15 years of not playing. Trying to learn everything before progressing too fast.
My biggest question for help is what should I do with the star stuff? Do i immediately put full stars on my items or just skip it until 200 but that limits farming zones? Meso spending help please
What I did is bring everything to 5 stars, then go for 10 stars. I wouldn't go for more stars until you have atleast one bil mesos!
you mentioned in the vid that getting to the gear setup at the end of the vid will net you 25k stat, but it's only ~14k main stat and ~19k total stat. were you just giving an estimated sum of the total stat in the vid or was there a mistake? sorry if this sounds dumb, returning player here. also, what main stat or total stat would you recommend a level 200 main char to be at?
I'm a new player(never played maple before) my main is a Kain, lvl 201 atm. He has 3.1k DEX, and only link skill I have is Mercedes link. I can do some bosses on chaos difficulty, but I still need to do most on normal or easy difficulty 😔

Hi, what would you trade out for a new player going straight into reboot since buying and selling gear isn’t an option.
It makes sense to do the long term acc strength such as link/legion but afterward I am kinda lost. I pick a main but I can’t just farm meso for gear. My assumption is it’s 140 gear and farm sweet water but aside from that am lost on how to fund and progress gear.
your first mistake was not playing on reboot XD although in the netherlands we can't trade with anyone (this includes the auction house) one regular so there is 0 reason to play regular vs reboot

I just did this on reboot. First Kanna, then ark, demon avenger,Mercedes, phantom. Illium, demon slayer. After some maths aran is not a necessary link.
I agree Aran is not necessary at all, I actually got the same links as yours except for illium and ark, i did three explorers archers for that % CR, and three pirates for that base stats, and evan for extended rune.
Just the thought that it "should" take until 200+ before you're taking 3 hits to kill a monster...
/laughs in 6-hit kills at 145/

my advice to anyone starting is to buy an account with links,legion finished already and just make a main during a lv 200 burning event
