The 6 was the underdog from day one, nobody and I mean noooooooobody seemed to care about the 6's except for those in the know, but now even OG speed 3 owners are picking up blown up/abandoned speed 6's to build. Now I've had my speed 6 for 10 years and has 262,000 miles on the original motor and turbo. I have basic bolt ons and tuned to peak at 22psi and that thing puts a freaking smile on my face every time I lay into it.
No matter: - how many parts i break - how much time do i have to give up looking for said parts and waiting to arrive -how many endless days of work i did so i could afford the engine rebuild -how many thousands dumped into rust and paint restoration -how many "bolt on" parts i buy which are not directly bolt on I believe in this platform. I believe in its capabilities, I believe in its potential, I believe in its performance and my main goal is to make others see what this unknown , forgotten and laughed upon car can do. I had made my mission to build this machine in such a way that it shits on most if not all of its 4 cylinder 4x4 counterparts, wipes its ass with every passat in europe tuned or not and decimate those poor inline6s BMW been putting out producing less than 1hp per 10cm3. I believe in Mazda, they havent done a lot of good cars but the ones that they had done, must be cherished, enjoyed most importanly driven.
Still have my baby Running. Decided to keep it stock though. Here is South Africa we call it the Mazda MPS 6. Love my baby girl Helga. That's her name by the way. Will ride her till the wheels fall off. Thanks for an awesome video
What have you had done to it? I want to daily mine and don't wanf to go higher than 400hp or 380lb tq because of the rear axle problem, if you have any insight plz share
Can you please do one on the hyundai genesis coupe. My favourite one is the 2013 2.0T 6MT (NON R-SPEC). It's a perfect daily sports car because it didn't require premium and had good consumption, the ride was comfortable, and there weren't any issues with the visibility.

The second gen Mazda 6s get a lot of flack for their looks but I honestly think they’re not that bad. Slap on some rims and lower it a bit and it will definitely change your perspective. I bought a 2009 6 speed manual as my first car and honest to God it was the best car I have ever owned. It handled amazingly, and even though it wasn’t exactly quick it just felt damn good to throw into corners which is saying a lot for a family sedan. Unfortunately someone blew through and intersection, hit me, and totaled it, so I miss it every day. Great car and they deserve more respect

I have a base model boosted, a 06-08 mazda6 i sport (fwd) , alot of sharing capabilities with mazdaspeed, and also the ford/mazda collab, with having same engines, so easily swap in the infamous 2.5 mzr/duratec to rate over 500hp, and also super rarely done a mazdaspeed3 transmission, to reach a good 600hp or a lil more. I have l3-ve ( port injection) / l5-ve ( 2.5 PI) and theres the l3-vdt which is the direct injection 2.3 mzr.
