Now that I posted this, I guess I am now part of Apple family🤣
Never in my life, naj jadi pat of this. But it happen.
I was planning to buy a laptop since Aug 2020 when I completed my housemanship as a present and encouragement as well as my old laptop just hate me.
I was torn to choose between Macbook and Surface Laptop. Since, I already am using Iphone and Ipad, why not just go all the way and buy a macbook, and thats what I did.
Besides, surface laptop is like realy new dalam pasaran Malaysia. Im afraid if Im having proble with the laptop, theres no available service centre here, especially in Kelantan or Terengganu.
Jakun gila nak setup and guna macbook, because Im so used to Windows laptop/pc. User interface is really different. Hopefully, I will get the hang of it soon.

Im sorry for the Malay subtitles. I think the part that you didnt understand was the part where I shared my experience taking care covid wards/patient. How bad it was being in full PPE for hours, sweating and dehydrated.
If I have been using windows all my life, then should I buy a MacBook for my college? Is it easy to understand?
Im still adapting, you know the shortcut keys when you are using windows, few of them doest work on macbook, but my fingers keep doing it. Its not that hard to underatand actually, it just my brain and my muscle memories still stuck in windows world😂😂

It depends on what you want to use it for? If you are going to use it for editing (vid or pic), I'd suggest the MacBook Air, you also have a wider variety of apps such as ones for gaming which the mac could handle (mac supported games from the web work too, I think maybe even on steam!). While the iPad pro does have the new magic keyboard, you're limited to downloading apps from the app store only, and let's also consider the fact that MacBook airs can now download IOS apps from the Appstore, even if they're games (Among us, etc). The MacBook Air is affordable and convenient, my personal opinion for you is to buy the air, and sorry for the LONG paragraph 🤣
One more thing to add, the MacBook Air doesn't support the apple pencil, so if you're an artist for example, definitely get the iPad pro.

still considering whether to go with 256GB or 512GB

There isnt really a benefit to AppleCare because when something happens to your device, they will make up an excuse and say that they don’t cover this type of damage, or they might say that you did it on purpose so they wont fix it for you

@@aqilahamni4458 I have bought applecare once before and never again. VERY FEW types of damage (i’m not sure particularly which) will be fixed by apple. I can’t tell you whether to buy it or not, but I prefer not to because they make up so many excuses
@@aqilahamni4458 it might be different in your country. they don’t make the fixing costs free with applecare. they just make it cheaper. for example, a broken screen costs 100-120$ to fix but with applecare (if they don’t make up excuses) it will cost 30$

sorry for the late reply, akak busy sgt dgn kerja. so far guna just for work (document, ppt, etc). rarely guna for heavy work. storage ada 200gb lagi. besides, i used external SSD to stores all large file, tapi tu pun xsampai 50gb je pun😅. kalau awk jenis yang suka download macam2, maybe cepat laa hbis storage, kalau for light work, ok je

im not from golongan kaya. Beli macbook sbb tgk kawan pakai macbook yang zaman bila ntah still tahan sampai sekarang and tak lag. saya dlu pakai acer laptop asyik crash je. for me, it just a long term investment. Sama je klau beli laptop biasa harga seribu lebih tapi mantanence dia berganda2. tak pun end up beli laptop lain. last2 end up harga lebih kurang je dgn sebiji macbook. Hope that justify the bigger reason why I bought this.

well, it depends on your need and use. As for me, i used my Macbook for work (mostly typing documents/ppt/excel), and some light video editing. If your use lagi extra from mine, berbaloi laa kot untuk beli pro version, otherwise version lain pon ok, windows laptop pun dah banyak yang powerful with cheaper price compared to macbook

How long the battery lasts? I heard it can lasted for at least 3 days?
if I used just for typing and regular web browsing, the battery lasted almost 1 and half days.

if digunakan for assignment and simple video editing, ok je storage banyak tu. if tak cukup, beli SSD, much cheaper compared to add on internal storage. but its up to you.

Sy pun asal2 gitu nak ambil MacBook Pro. Tapi sy ubah plan sekarang sy cadang nak ambil Hp Spectre X360. Harga pun okay la RM6.7k je for 1TB. Still prefer Windows lagi. Prefer something less hassle.

To be honest I have an iPhone that is rose gold and it gets more scratched with my experience. It’s a very pretty colour but I know form my experience its gonna get scratched easily bc they paint it I guess with the sliver you don’t really need to do that ( I hope I made it a bit clear it may not be true for others but for me it’s true)
