@@PolyglotJ yes. you don’t need to put anything on it. the retina display is so clear and of high quality, putting on a screen protector will only put your macbook at high risk of any kind of screen damage.
@@nikotakai8796 there’s a protective coating on macbook screens and a screen protector can mess with that and possibly remove it or make it less effective. “staingate” is a common problem of macbook screens and putting on a screen protector only increases the chance of experiencing that display problem. and it’s not like you’re going to drop your macbook screen first and crack the screen (like what happens in phones)
hey, just letting you know that dust plugs are not the best for macs as they block the airways that help it from overheating! especially with the new macs as they don’t have any fans.

Shin, I thought I’d warn you, Apple doesn’t recommend that you put screen protectors on because it may remove the anti-glare coating on the display. They also don’t reccomend putting keyboard protectors on as it may loosen the hinges or- worse- crack the display. 😅
Hey Congratulations on your new purchase ✨ Just want to let you know that the macbook display and the keyboard has barely any gap in between,so if you put that keyboard cover this may damage your MacBook screen in long term and can cause longevity issues. Like even I stopped using that keyboard cover after reading some reviews in Google.
just a tip: the keyboard cover and screen protector can damage the screen, so i wud suggest removing those! there isn’t a real point of those anyways :)

There’s also the aspect of if you want to buy Final Cut Pro ect which costs £180. It’s definitely a hard decision :))
i bought it last week, it was worth it! plus for like the rest of summer apple is doing this education discount, certain devices were like 10% off and airpods were at like 100%-70% off. airpod pros were 90$!! so worth it. the rest i bought off amazon, apple is too expensive lol
