Hello. Planning to buy the same model and color. I’m just curious about the space grey color fading since i’ve read a lot of forums online saying that the space grey finish fades over time. There are other incidences where people are removing their stickers and decals because the space grey finish would have a “sunburn” effect where the areas without the stickers fades, and areas where stickers and decals are placed are fine. Leaving a “sunburn” effect. Since your macbook has been over a year old, do you notice any fading and discolorations on your space grey macbook? I’m really conflicted if i should but the silver instead. Hoping for a response thanksss 😊✨
Hi, I’ve been using it for over a year with a casing on it and I do not see any faded color on the MacBook. It is normal to find the color came off with stickers so the best is to avoid putting any stickers on the surface. Hope it helps :)

Hey there! I think it all depends on what you are gonna use the laptop for. If you think that the HP laptop doesn't really fulfil what you need you may explain to your mom and show her the performance of your laptop, as for my previous MBA2017 it's working extremely fine for about 2 years and I planned to use this M1 MBA for 3 years and more. Hope this helps :)

@@Max-cw1wm Yep I got my 16gb 512ssd MacBook Air last week. So far, the battery has been absolutely incredible. The entire system is unbelievably fast - as for the camera, it is 720p so its not quite as good as the one's you'd find on an iPhone but it does the job. It's obviously still sharp enough to distinguish facial features and small details - and i's good in different lighting conditions. It's definitely well worth the wait. For one downside (if you consider the camera a downside), the positives massively outweigh it, it is by far the best Mac I have ever owned and so far I haven't had any problems with it even with online class etc - both the camera and microphones have worked flawlessly and perfectly seamless (and the speakers are great!) Hope this helped, are you looking to get one?

Watched almost all review videos and stomped on one that was talking about the quality of the camera being disappointing and my whole mood shifted because I just ordered one also. Surprisingly the camera on the pro isn’t any better apparently. Thanks I’m sure I would enjoy it 😊

I assume you’ve already bought the one you mentioned or bought a legit one, but for anyone else out there that is prone to falling for one of these scams, it’s most likely either an older model or it’s just a scam altogether.
the MacBook you have don't have the butterfly keyboard. it has the magic keyboard. apple stop using the butterfly keyboard on there laptops I think about 4/5 years ago

It's not the butterfly keyboard it's the magic keyboard using scissor mechanism they have stopped used the butterfly keyboards
