The guy was so dominate for so long. Even now that he's beatable, he's nearly 60 years old and competitive at the highest level. In his loss, he's humble, doesn't whine or complain, and always demonstrates the best sportsmanship to his opponent. He's a model for any sportsman to emulate.

I only heard the commentary at the time, and was painful to hear that John was getting destroyed, but when I saw what Todd did to that young beast at EvW9, I can only say Todd is very impressive at the moment. I think John would have had the match a year ago. This past year has not been a good one for John and sadly stem cells have not been able to repair that shoulder. I doubt his wrist is fixed either. This was also an awsome show of humility from John. I mean, he invited Todd to rub his head and bowed to him. Where else do we find an example of humility like that? You gotta respect John. I'm really hoping he gets a second wind - that miracles will happen and he gets healed up.

ahahahahaha John tryna talk to Todd in the first round because he somewhat had his pronation still intact, but realised the calamity when Todd's tireless sidepressure burnt out and overwhelmed his pronator, he became coy and nice and patted Todd on the shoulder
