I think your HELLO HELLO HELLO shirt should have BYE… on the back! Love you and your podcast AND yarn! Keep producing these informative and entertaining podcasts!
Yes!!! Capsule wardrobe all the way! Not a bunch of unrelated pieces but a cohesive wardrobe!!! Please include planning, executing the pieces with strategies for doing so, and maintenance of the wardrobe. I for one would not be mad if it included sewn pieces...and pieces with a vintage flair...maybe with a little glamour. I have an abundance of casual clothing...what I need/want/crave is something that leans dressy yet comfortable with more of an artistic flair. Am I alone in that?
Hi Missus Earl! First thoughts when you said, "Hand-knit capsule wardrobe": So, 🤔 is that like a time capsule of hand-knit garments you put in the ground, so that when tribulation comes, the people might have something to wear if they know where to dig? If so, we'd have to make it out of non-flammable or non-melty materials. 😄 Happy Belated Palm 🌴 Sunday and Happy Passover 🩸🏜🐑🍷. Your Hello Hello Hello print reminds me of sprinkled donuts and cupcakes. 🍩🧁
I hope you do more videos on the hand knit capsule wardrobe concept--that's so up my alley! I've used a capsule wardrobe for years and only in the last couple of years have shifted to sewing/knitting/spinning/crocheting my clothes and that's been so enjoyable to do. P.S. Also love VM in wooly yarn, I find it charming, but I see how it could be annoying in a dark color where it really stands out.
Great progress on your sweater for your husband! And I am looking forward to your new piece! And I would love to hear more about your capsule wardrobe (what I am trying but still struggeling!😅)! 🎉😊
The black t-shirt will be awesome!! How about The Tay-Tee! Your husband’s sweater is going to be a great classic! I’m currently working on the Sundance Throw…love it! Thanks for sharing!
I’m of the same mindset for a capsule wardrobe. I have sewn clothes since I was 10. I’ve been knitting since I was 7 but only managed to create my first adult sized clothing item in my 40s which is known as the 30 year jumper since I promised it for my husband way back when😂. I decided to create a hand done capsule wardrobe but live in a hot, humid climate that stretches 7-8 months of the year with the remaining months not exactly heavy woolly weather. I decided to sew linen palazzo trousers & straight long skirts with slits to mid thigh as well as a few interchangeable linen tanks all done in black, off white, & khaki(ish) fabric. I also like the gauzy cottons for tops & skirts. I’m adding tanks, tunics, & loose tees knitted in cotton/silk/linen/hemp of various blends. I think it’ll be a wardrobe that takes me out of the fast fashion circle of horror & offers the mix & match concept of the capsule style. BTW I love your podcasts & really look forward to them as I’m sitting & knitting. It’s always nice to see your WIPs & FIs as well as your recommendations on products pertinent to the stitching community you’ve created. Thanks so much for this passion project!
I LOVE the t-shirt... Hello, hello, hello!!!!! I wouldn't be bothered if it was the same color as the 'farm matter', but, black would be hard for me to ignore and I would be annoyed picking it out often. LOVE the yarn though... Loved seeing Brandon. Sweater looks great so far. You 2 are a very good looking couple! love, hugs, prayers.
It would drive me crazy, trying to knit a sweater and all that vegetable mater is there. I'd be picking it all out, then I probably wouldn't buy the yarn again. With that said, that yarn and that color are beautiful. With the owning of clothes, I am 70 years old and when I was a teenager and a young adult, I couldn't afford to buy a bunch of clothes, so I would wear them out before I could buy more. Now that I'm old, I love going to the second hand stores and finding beautiful sweaters and tops and adding to my collection. I love being able to go into my room and have all those sweaters in all those colors and shapes to choose from. I also clear out my closet kind of once a year. But I do hang on to my things. I also thought I had a lot of yarn, until I started watching knitting podcasts and realized, I've got a very small amount of yarn! I knit all the time so I go through it fast. Last year, I sent a friend, and her daughters something like 10 shawls and I also knit a blanket and sent that. I know she will use them and that gives me purpose. I bought some patterns on Ravelry today and one I thought you might like is, Thea Top by Paula M or Susanne Muller. I am also diving down a new path which is I bought a set of Tunisian crochet hooks from Knit Picks. I found this pattern on ravelry called Mulberry Afghan by Toni Lipsey and I am excited to give that a go. Thank you for all the inspiration. I always look forward to all of your videos.
One day I'll get to your shop and be able to purchase something before everything sells out! (The Coconino and Percival's Pluto were stunning.) You are really entertaining -- when you start explaining something (e.g. the veg matter in the yarn) and get stuck and then end it, it's so funny (sweet). I love how your podcasts are like actual visits with you in your office/studio space. Good episode today, it's always helpful to get tips on wearables, things that will become staples and go-to pieces for always. (By the way, I bought the Lucca hat pattern and ordered yarn for it. Looking forward to adding THAT to my accessory wardrobe! Thanks for the recommendation!)
Thank you so much Noelle. This means a lot. I truly want these visits to be inviting and enjoyable in much the same way as meeting with a good friend would be. Knowing that you feel that way makes it very special for me. ❤️
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your show. I too am a native Nevadan. My granddaughter is the 7th generation. I live in Stagecoach, 40 miles east of Carson City. Thank you again.
Thank you so much Donny! Stagecoach is such a cool town. We’ve driven through and love the beautiful rangeland views. Just that whole area is so pretty. Cheers to native Nevadans! ❤️❤️
I love this idea of a capsule wardrobe! I have so much clothing collected over the years with very little that can be worn together. Motivation to clear out.
Stopped my knitting and laughed out loud when you reminded your husband you needed him to be dressed 😂. I love the Hello Hello Hello tee but I feel like we also need your “happy knitting happy making” on something too! Thanks for the giggles today.
I love the idea of a knitting capsule wardrobe. I will follow your track and will cast on a t-shirt at once. A black one of course. My ”plain” knits are my most used 😊
Capsule wardrobe. Genius! (goes to clean out closet) Honestly since I’ve discovered you, my sweater mojo is at a high! I’m on my second one since the beginning of the year and will be winding yarn for the 3rd this week. So thank you for helping me kick it into gear! We recently moved to Texas and I was so afraid I wouldn’t knit or wear sweaters anymore, then I find you, just outside of Vegas, knitting ALL the sweaters, and I am on board the sweater train! 😂
I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe. I just knit will nilly as things catch my eye. I need to be more purposeful in my endeavors.

You could call it 'Tayler's cup of T!' 😀 love your videos, although they give me way too much ideas, so my Todo list is growing at the same rate as my children. Greetings from Austria
Love the capsule knitted wardrobe idea. I’ve got a relatively small “corporate wardrobe and then heaps of casual and knitted garments. I’ve had the concept of making something appropriate for every seasonal “day of the year” but would love to review my knitted capsule wardrobe idea. Love to see more on this 💚
I would LOVE to see a capsule wardrobe pattern ideas video! Especially if you can do ones for warmer weather, I live near you in Mesquite, NV and it gets hottttttt here 😂
Yarn with vegetable matter and other matter, so politely called, is the Irish Bainin Yarn, US call it Virtual Yarn. From this yarn we knit Aran Sweaters for the fishermen, the lanoline remains in the yarn to act as a water repellent. Lovely to knit with if you can tolerate the smell.
I recently found your podcast and have been binging it! As a new knitter, I love all the information delivered in such a fun, positive, conversational tone. I’d love a video about a capsule wardrobe! Knitting garments take me quite a bit of time, so I really like the idea of having cohesive pieces. Thanks for all your great content.
definitely interested in a video on capsule wardrobes! I'm working (very slowly) on building up my handknit sweater wardrobe, replacing things that have worn out.
I would love to see more content on capsule wardrobes and how to put one together. That is something I have been wanting to work on and have for myself
I would love a podcast on a capsule wardrobe! Part of the reason I don't do that now is the lack of handknits. I'm a cardigan-tanktop-yogapants work from home type, so I'm looking at a handful of tanktops. Still looking for "the" pattern though - I'm chesty and have to layer store bought tanks. May have to improvise to create a nice neckline without going too high, hoping to eliminate the extra tank - it's hot hot hot here in MO after our weeklong spring!
Spooky! As I watch your video I am crocheting a granny ripple baby blanket. Great minds indeed. Would you consider doing a video on making bags? I'm onsessed at the moment and contemplating a raffia style beach bag. Also for your capsule wardrobe what about Sari Nordlund Katarina top. She also does lightweight strappy tips and I love her patterns. Keep up the enthuy. I love it
I got a knitted capsule wardrobe worksheet download from New Wave Knitting the other day. Love seeing your hubby try on his sweater so far, and love your plan for the tee. Second the name Tay-shirt 😊❤
I was really happy to see warmer weather items like the Colette sweater, it’s given me so inspiration! Love the progress that you made on your Frankensweater for your husband, he is such a good sport going on camera. Be well
Hi Taylor! I also enjoy the rustic yarns with some VM😉 I’ve knitted a few garments in those yarns and I found having a pair of tweezers handy works well picking some bits out without damaging the yarn. Not that I mind the look of the bits of VM, but some bits can be a little scratchy when you wear the garment Loving the look of the new sweater x
Hi Tayler, Re. VM, I am currently spinning Rambouillet on a drop spindle and it's full of it. I try to take it out as much as possible, although the small pieces are impossible to weed out. My concern is that, just like hay, it would be very itchy. I used to help getting in the hay bales at a farm near me when I was a kid, and the bits would stick to you and itch like mad. Like your videos, they're a lot of fun!
I love practicing the capsule wardrobe, have done this all my life, having spent 10 years in the Navy and now a Nurse practitioner, I have always had a uniform. I love the idea of adding some knits to this, All the knits I do are in white and gray, so this is perfect! Thanks Tayler!
My pleasure! I will definitely be exploring this more here on the channel so we can dive into it together. And thank you for your service, both in the Navy and in nursing. ❤️
Ok, throwing this out there, Tweed Jacket/Skirt combo. Maybe just the jacket to dress up something, but I love a good tweed. I don't have any suggestions for yarn, but I'm sure you could find something.
Love how you talk about different fibers and how they feel/work up… have you ever tried a bamboo or bamboo blend? If so, which brand? Thanks again for your podcast!
Another great podcast where I feel like I’m sitting in your home listening to you tell me about your knitting journey. You’re so personal and inviting. I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe because I’m older and I’m trying to declutter my wardrobe. I’m always donating clothes so I understand the desire for a capsule wardrobe. I don’t like the idea of a tee shirt up to my neck. It would have to be v-neck or scoop neck - too close to my neck is claustrophobic - weird, I know😊. Thanks for all you do - so fun !!
Thank you so much for these kind words Pamela. It means a lot to me. And I understand the desire to have a minimal wardrobe…at any age really. It just simplifies a part of our lives that we have direct control over and that’s always a good thing. And not wanting a close-fitting neckline isn’t weird at all. I totally get it. ❤️
It doesn’t bother me at all to find some vegetable matter in yarn. I usually pick it out as I go. That is very strange that people might add veg matter to yarn. I agree with your assessment of that.
I am a Bit torn when it comes to little pieces of hey or what have you in the yarn. While working it up it would probably make me feel all rustic, down to earth and kinda connected to nature. But when wearing it I would feel like I just came out of the stable (and having grown up around cows that usually means forty and in needing a shower 😅)
My idea instead of Frankenstein Sweater is a Compilation Sweater. My main need is for the pattern for top down circular sweater just need the collar down to just under the arm pattern and then I can figure out from there.
I am currently knitting a pullover for myself out of the Lovely Valley wool. Mine is the medium gray. There are bits of vm and also an occasional white fuzzy bit. Maybe the processors didn't clean off the drum carder? Anyway, neither of these things bothers me at all and in fact makes me feel more confident about my raw fleece processing. Cause there is vm. This is a marvelous yarn.
Girl…. I went to the shop on Monday. Zero yarn. Your good. I love your work. Wish I could have gotten some. I did however sign up on the site for updates. Maybe next time I will be able to snag some of your delicious yarns
I hand spin yarn. And what I’m working on is wool from sheep that are bred for meat. So it’s a coarse wool and as a result, their wool still has vegetable matter in it even after all the carding. I pick most of it out as I’m spinning it, and then when I knit, I pick out more. Even my knits don’t have that much vegetable matter in it, so the spinner isn’t picking out any VM during the spinning process. I find that…. Lazy. A little is understandable if the wool is coming from sheep that aren’t bred and raised for wool production… but that much in yarn that I sell? No.
Thank you for a another great podcast Can’t wait to see your t-shirt done and Brandon’s sweater and btw good looking man you have there !!! Have a great week ahead Taylor until your next podcast take care 💝😊🇨🇦🇨🇦
I love the idea of a me-made capsule wardrobe. I’ve started small with focusing on winter only knits. I’ve got two sweaters (as of today) that I’ve hand knit. I’m trying my hand at summer knits now and may consider the collet tee…😊
Crystal, I don't even crotchet...yet. I'm still a new knitter, but I just love your enthusiasm and excitement for yarn, and I love watching your videos and getting your take on all the yarn you showcase. Hoping this finds you well and that you're having a lovely day....Oh Taylor, not sure how that happened I meant to comment on "Bag'o'days" video. I should comment on yours more often as well. I love your video and your hot takes on everything. I find your videos very informative, interesting and engaging. I also love your crotched blanket. Keep up the lovely work and as always I look forward to your next Video. Jade
Hello Hello Hello (love the tee shirt) Vegetation in the wool does come out in the blocking and washing process. I haven't experienced this myself. Another youtube knitting channel 'Jonathan Day' did mention this in one of his wip knits, where he was actually finding twigs as he was knitting with very rustic yarn. Shut out to Branden. He's a trooper! Loved your tee shirt video. It's really inspiring me to exploring summer knits.
Great podcast as always and love the capsule idea. Just a quick UA-cam tech info for you. Although there were 83 comments on the podcast there were no like numbers displayed. I cannot see me being the first to like when you have all those good comments. Just mentioning in case this affects your readings with UA-cam analytics 👍
Hi Carol! Thank you for watching! Currently my channel is setup to not display a ‘like’ count. But giving the video a like really does help so I truly appreciate it. ❤️

The Henderson Tee? As you can (hopefully) wear it comfortably in Henderson, Nevada?
Your hubs is adorable as you are!!!! 🎉❤ Super cute couple and I’m glad he likes to wear your creations!!! My hubby likes the socks I make him🥳🥰😘

Really liking the idea of capsule wardrobe items.
Especially lighter weight (for warmer weather and layering) and easy care items.
I think you should call your new black sweater "licorice whip". So pretty! Always look forward to your new video releases!

For your improv tee, I immediately thought of Tee is for Tayler.
I love this idea of a capsule wardrobe! I have so much clothing collected over the years with very little that can be worn together. Motivation to clear out.
I love this tee!!! I think it should be the Capsule Tee! I cannot wait to see it put together!❤
Stopped my knitting and laughed out loud when you reminded your husband you needed him to be dressed 😂.

These are all great suggestions! Thank you Susan. ❤️

In ref to the FrankenHusband sweater I love the speckles it is so Mother Nature and having those things in it is cool to me
Yarn with vegetable matter and other matter, so politely called, is the Irish Bainin Yarn, US call it Virtual Yarn. From this yarn we knit Aran Sweaters for the fishermen, the lanoline remains in the yarn to act as a water repellent. Lovely to knit with if you can tolerate the smell.
Would LOVE to see more on hand knitted capsule wardrobe!! Love your channel and your posts❤

It is always invigorating and refreshing to watch your Videos. Thank you Yvonne (vienna, austria)
definitely interested in a video on capsule wardrobes! I'm working (very slowly) on building up my handknit sweater wardrobe, replacing things that have worn out.
Please release the knit tee pattern in the wild😍😍😍🤣…hello from Northern California!
You’ve already got many comments here but… a name that came to mind is ‘The Hello Tee’. I like the idea of a capsule wardrobe too!
Lol your hubby is a good sport!😂
Gosh I love you Tayler, you are such a breath of fresh air. Your shawl is stunning 😍
Thank you so much Celine. That means an awful lot to me. ❤️❤️

A fun idea is calling it the timeless tee/sweater depending on the sleeve length. Since it's a capsule piece.
I would love to see more content on capsule wardrobes and how to put one together. That is something I have been wanting to work on and have for myself
OMG I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe set of go to patterns!! Also you and Brandon look adorable together❤❤❤❤
I think a cute name for your raglan is "Timeless Tee" because it'll be a capsule piece!
This is a fantastic name, I love it!
Please! We need more tshirt patterns!
And, the name could be The Opal.

You could call your first capsule wardrobe piece Number 1.
Just here to say I appreciate you very much! I love your personality and you always make me chuckle.
Thank you Emily! I appreciate you for being here. 😘
Hay in yarn is scratchy. In warm climate, lacy knits & sleeveless things are super.

I love the start of you LBT - Little Black Tee
Ah the "self-destructing" cake. Enter, the yarn cozy :)
You can totally make a capsule wardrobe anywhere in the world in any weather. Bamboo, linen is great for hot humid weather for example
Ok, throwing this out there, Tweed Jacket/Skirt combo. Maybe just the jacket to dress up something, but I love a good tweed. I don't have any suggestions for yarn, but I'm sure you could find something.

I love the Vegetable Matter in the wool! I’m a spinner as well as a knitter and I love spinning the natural beautiful fleeces with the VM in them! 😊
I'd love to see a video about timeless/capsule wardrobe patterns that you'd recommend or you want to knit! ♡

Yes, I would be very interested in your thoughts about a capsule wardrobe. And as always, Brandon is such a good sport 🧶
I use flat tip tweezers to pick hay out of my kniited and crocheted pieces. Fingers tend to grab the yarn as well as hay.
The Capsule Tee!
I also am interested in capsule knits.
Would loveeeee to see a video on capsule patterns!
I'm do excited about your t-shirt, it's looking great! I would love to hear more about the capsule. Might have to include some felted clogs lol😂❤
I am a
Bit torn when it comes to little pieces of hey or what have you in the yarn.
Happy monday ... The Taylor tshirt sould be a great name ...
The sweater is looking nice so far
I am currently knitting a pullover for myself out of the Lovely Valley wool. Mine is the medium gray. There are bits of vm and also an occasional white fuzzy bit. Maybe the processors didn't clean off the drum carder? Anyway, neither of these things bothers me at all and in fact makes me feel more confident about my raw fleece processing. Cause there is vm. This is a marvelous yarn.
I love your room. It looks so cozy.
Funny how things are ‘down your alley.’ I’ve always said things were UP mine. Is that just me? 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 that’s so true. I guess I’ve heard it both ways!
I really enjoy your podcasts, and would like yo see your suggestions for a hand knit capsule wardrobe.
I finished my Sundance Throw, well except for fringe. I need to post pics on it. I did a few different cakes than the pattern called for.
Girl…. I went to the shop on Monday. Zero yarn. Your good. I love your work. Wish I could have gotten some. I did however sign up on the site for updates. Maybe next time I will be able to snag some of your delicious yarns
Thank you so much Bonnie!
I would love a capsule video!
I am interested in the capsule items. I have been looking at some patterns for one myself.
Does the HELLO
HELLO
HELLO shirt come in long sleeves?
Hi Brenda!! It doesn’t at the moment, but I can (and will) change that. ❤️❤️
The Tayler -T!
No.
❤Love our talks. Great progress on your sweaters. A knitted capsule wardrobe sounds interesting. 😊
Thank you for a another great podcast
Can’t wait to see your t-shirt done and Brandon’s sweater and btw good looking man you have there !!!
Have a great week ahead Taylor until your next podcast take care
💝😊🇨🇦🇨🇦
Great podcast thank you 🧶☕️☺️
I love the idea of a me-made capsule wardrobe. I’ve started small with focusing on winter only knits. I’ve got two sweaters (as of today) that I’ve hand knit. I’m trying my hand at summer knits now and may consider the collet tee…😊
Your husband is very supportive! It's fun to see your projects ❤

"HELLO HELLO HELLO" I just love it! 👕perfection! "I'm your cup of cozy" would be a good one for you as well! Another great video. Thank you so much.
String of pearls tee😊
Oooooooo! ❤️❤️
Loved the episode ❤ I am excited to see progress on your black tee. Name idea 💡 “Absolutely Classic Tee”
