I love the Monday sweater and you’ve inspired me to use stuff I have to get to DK wt! What a year!! I’m a new knitter and started my channel in March. Yours was one of the first I began watching. So inspiring!
Haha I like when people tell me the honest truth about their experiences so I try to do the same! And I’m someone who needs to keep my hands moving and I read a lot so that’s really to blame 😂
Honesty much appreciated! I knit a dozen hats (8 were Boston Red Sox beanies for my fam 😄), 4 partial sweaters, 2 1/2 pairs of socks, 1 scarf, half a vest, and a Christmas ornament. I'm a slow knitter that is very polygamous, lol!
Did not even recognize you, but your Monday sweater was a HUGE help in me deciding to use up a bunch of second hand dk yarn i got from Vinted and i am actually knitting on it as i watch this! All these knits look incredible though :D
Loved your way of showing all your knits for the year. First time you showed up on my “to watch” videos. Glad you did. Where do you find most of your thrifted yarn? Do you disassemble sweaters?
I enjoyed seeing all that you knit.🧶. I am in the process of knitting Christmas stockings for my family, they are the same patterns as yours (plus 1 more pattern)- what a sweet surprise.
Love a a lot of your knit choices. Some of your summer knits looked great over your long sleeve sweater and the lace knit that you didn’t like you could wear as an extra layer underneath for warmth
Thank you Emma. Well done! Great work. Yes, the frustrating thing about knitting is when it doesn't work out as planned. It is so rewarding when it does. ☺️ It is indeed a learning process. Best wishes with your 2025 plans. 🥰
Love this video! I’m very interested in your thrift finds because I have cashmere in 2 weights. The color is ice blue (not good for me) and I have 300gr in 2 stiches icord and 600gr in 4 stiches icord. It was very fun to disassemble and I have all washed and in skeins. Now I don’t know what to do with them. Happy new year 🎉 greetings from Switzerland
I’ve probably got 4 unraveled sweaters in my stash right now! I’m working through some sweater quantities of “normal” yarn right now but I’m hoping to get back to the unraveled soon! I personally think it’s the most sensible was to buy cashmere haha
I would if the fit was better, I totally forgot that the first time I knit the pattern it was a medium. I’m thinking I’ll reknit it into the champagne pullover by sari nordlund than overdye to a dark red!

That’s awesome! I think the Monday sweater is such a great pattern to mess around with! Just simple enough you can have fun with the yarn
Love your straight on honesty. Wow! You have been productive! I'm still working on getting a whole pair of socks made without errors!

That’s so awesome! (I live in the Boston area so I love the hats)😁
The little "do do do" when you changed was so adorable 💖
Haha, the product of all my puttering around the house alone😂

That’s awesome! I really think it’s an excellent pattern for messing around with scrap yarn!

I unravel sweaters I thrifted and I also pick up a decent number of skeins, usually single ones!
I love your work and presentations.
Thank you so much for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed!
Lovely knits! I especially like how the November Neck turned out, gorgeous colors😍
Yes I’m so obsessed, I don’t usually buy skeins without a specific project in mind but I’m glad I couldn’t resist that one!

Thank you! I’m excited to get a whole season to try and wear them this year and figure out what I wear the most!

Thank you! Yea I love the rewarding feeling of finishing no matter how it turns out, sometimes I just have to grow to love a piece 😊
What a lovely selection of knitting. You are very talented 🙂
Thank you! And thank you for watching :)

For the yellow cardigan … maybe overdye it?

I knit 47 items, mostly for myself.
Wow that’s amazing!
