Great comparison! So, Bird just recently started service down in Matthews. And, IMO, I can tell you that their scooters in Matthews are pretty much junk. Even through it's a new service in the area, they must have went to the trash heap to get their scooters. I think this because until I watched this video, I thought the Charlotte version of the Bird scooter was actually nice 😂. The only upside is that they just changed the pricing in Matthews to $5 per 30 mins. I took a 45 minute cruise tonight around town tonight (great weather), and it only cost $11 bucks. Not sure if that will last long. Seems not too many people are using them. They are hardly ever charged and I only ever see btwn 6 or 8 on the map. Anyway, great video!
This is very objective. The bird will outperform the lime every time when youre riding. For Kickstand, if theres just a little wind all the limes will tip over.
Fact: Bird is better. From my many experiences. Specifically for all the new ones. First thing to disclaim is that the Lime scooters we got at our city is even newer with a wired shorter shape and a bike lock built in. Lime: Pros: Decent acceleration, nice smooth ride, having a bike lock Cons: Terrible display, only shows a lime with a speed wheel. No actual numbers for how fast you go or battery life. Small board, pretty much only a couple positions to put your feet on, and forget about carrying anything with you on the board. Locking the scooter takes at least twice and long, they "require" you to lock it on a bike lock, and it just takes more of your paying time to lock it even if you just leave it wherever Bird: GREAT acceleration, faster max speed, good light, very fast to unlock and lock. Cons: Not as smooth as lime Overall, bird is WAY better and any other opinion is wrong. Like, imagine taking away the display lol. But definitely download both, cuz they are too similar in price, you likely will just need ANY scooter when your looking for anything close to you. And also Spin sucks.
Here in California we have these two scooters and we also have one called link among other scooters brands but those three are the ones that I ride the most I prefer the torque from bird and the smoothness of its ride I love link because you can see it from a great distance because it shows a green light on the handlebars so it's easy to spot when looking for it plus it has a super long range compare to the other scooters sometimes the rains can be 40 or 50 miles and it states that whereas line and bird the most I've ever seen their mileage is 14 or 15 miles and it's just as fast as the big birds scooters the ride isn't as smooth and it doesn't have as much torque.

The bird had air tires the line had rubber tire wich is why it needs the suspension
Lime 250w
Bird 400w

I agree. Lime is way better than Bird
