I love your San Pedro crest. 🥰 I’m glad your cacti are doing well inside your greenhouse despite our brutal summer heat. My backyard looks like a haunted yard with all the shade cloths on top of the plants. Even my palm tree turned yellow. Hang in there and keep yourself cool indoors. 😎
Thank you. The San Pedro crest is my favorite plant! It’s been a tough summer so far. I have things hiding in shade spots all over yard too. Just too hot! For a palm to turn yellow is crazy! I hope we don’t have another heat dome like that again! Stay cool too! 🌵🌵🌵
Great Cacti collection. Everything looks so organized. They seem pretty happy. I am in Arizona, i have a small collection, and our temperatures here have been over 110. I water mine once a week late at night, some are doing good and some are not too happy. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I feel like it’s so tricky. Some people say to water less and they go dormant. Others ramp it up. That grower Miles from miles to go online lives in Arizona and he waters every four days. It’s just trial and error and what works best. Keep growing! 🌵💚
Ohhh, i see your Miles 2 Go stash potted up and in position. Ive got some Copiapoa, some Thelocactus, and a couple Astros coming in the mail this week. My wife was none too happy, says ive got no more room for any more. Lmao, Little does she know, theres always room for more!!!
You must be so excited to get those! There is always more room is so true. I think my wife has given up on telling me that! I don’t have any Copiapoa in greenhouse yet, but I have so many seedlings in the 1year to 1 1/2year mark! Can’t wait!
One of the new plants I got from Miles was the Mars sulcorebutia you have (you skipped over it in the video). Yours is bigger than the one I have. How long have you had yours? Has it grown any?

I bought from Chris too he is super nice!
Big time! The super kabuto I got from him had seed pod on it. Got 34 seeds!
It's amazing that the cacti are surviving those extreme temperatures. The humidity is very low, so is it cool under trees or in a garage?
Greenhouse is next to an 8 foot wall blocking extreme afternoon direct sun. Other than that no real cover except for 50percent shade cloth.
Are you growing your cereus peruvianus monstrose in more organic than grit? I just picked one up and need to repot it.
I have a few. One in the ground doing well. The one I haven’t repotted yet in in mostly organic mix. I would do 50/50 if you can! 🌵💚
@@DLLMCACTUS Thank you. Do you avoid peat and use coconut coir or? Thanks for suggestion.

I got that from Miles maybe 3 months ago. Some growth for sure. Yours should take off in the fall. Super cool plant huh! 🌵🌵🌵💚
