- The Monkees at the Beacon Theatre, NYC, December 2, 2012 - I had a great time at this concert! I especially loved that they featured music from their Headquarters album (my favorite!). This is You Told Me (written by Michael Nesmith) featuring Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz (on drums), and Peter Tork
Man, Peter looks great here. I just saw Mike and Micky perform a week after Peter's passing. Such a loss to lose a second Monkee. 😔

Absolutely. Nesmith and by default the Monkees deserve far more credit for the conception of said genre than Gram Parsons.
I was there that night. My dream finally came true. Seeing my favorite band of all time! Only thing missing was Davy.
The jangle guitar buildup is amazing at the beginning. . Peters picking and plucking is awesome! .. basically folks the Monkees have been killing it for the last 4 years..!
