I went food shopping on Sunday, which was Mother’s Day in the US too. The entire front of the store was filled with flower bouquets. A continuous stream of men ran in the store, grabbed a flower bunch, ran to the checkout then ran out the door! It was worth going shopping just to watch the spectacle and very amusing to most of the lady shoppers! Glad your cat is better! Blessings to you both.

I'm so happy to see her eye's have improved. I received a fantastic gift for Mother's Day. My youngest Son and his Wife who have been trying for years to have a baby are pregnant. Asking for Prayers for them as she usually miscarries. This is the longest time so far without complications. They've know for a while but withheld until they thought is was okay to share. This Thursday while your going to the vet I will being sitting with my phone glued to me as she has an ultra sound 🥰

Now I used to only own Blue and Red Heeler dogs but sadly they have passed on and said I wouldn’t get another one and I haven’t but because I have been blessed with 5 stray dogs all started beginning at puppy age. They have all been spayed/neutered. I am at my limit 😂Pets provide so much and ask for so little ❤
I always look forward to your podcasts which I love very much. I make hamburger soup but I add cabbage to mine and I am about to make it again. It's one of my favorite soups to have and I enjoyed it more than stew. I am so happy your cat is still with you. When my daughter cat died she told me of a poem about our pets when they die. You two are such awesome pet parents!! We had to give our cat an antibiotic for 6 weeks one time and the pills were such a pain for us and for him - so we took the pills to a "compounding pharmacy" (it's for humans as well as pets) and they took the pills and made them into a fish flavor liquid. Then we only had to squirt a small amount of that into the side of his mouth twice a day. It was SO MUCH EASIER than the pills. Just an idea. Your soup sure looked yummy to me!!

Medicating cats is not easy, I really sympathize with you. A few months ago, one of my cats had a badly infected eye and we got medication for her. Two people fighting one cat and the cat was winning. We had to go through this twice a day for five days. On the second day, I was fed up with being gentle, and when I saw the cat lying on the floor, inspiration hit me. With syringe in one hand, I grabbed the cat by the scruff of the neck and simply held him in place and squirted it into the side of his mouth. He could not move his head away because of the floor, and he couldn't pull it in the other direction because of the way that I was holding him. He did lose the vision in one eye, but at least the infection cleared up.
So happy your fur baby is doing better...spoil her all you can. I'm sitting here eating one of those veg healthy frozen dinners looking at your beautiful homage soup...I just want to reach thro and get a bowl...much love to you both!
We give our hyperthyroid cat a pill every day in the evening and every other day in the morning and rotate foods and feed him five times a day. You do anything for them
I glad Twopea's health is improving. I retired ealy from trucking almost 4 years ago but keep in touch with my co-workers. They just signed a contract for 20% over 3 years and added more money for our pension and other benefits so thing are looking up. Im glad to see you and Michelle are doig good and Kevin be safe out there.

I'm so happy for your cat. Hope she continues to get better. Re feeding medicines, the vet suggested coating the tablets in honey for my now angel fur baby (dog). Maybe you can try something similar like favourite foods for your cat.
I'm so glad that Twopee is doing better. When I had dogs, I did whatever had to be done for them until the end. And even then it was hard not to, but I realized, as a nurse, that doing anything else would just prolong their suffering and would be for me . I hope the medicine works and that y'all are able to spoil her for a long time.❤

Clever idea with the tinfoil on the side of the pan - I didn't know that trick - thanks! By God's grace, you (we) will get thru the increasingly difficult events. I say this encouragingly - as you said, rents & mortgages are skyrocketing. Seems the trucking industry is taking a harder hit in many areas. Kevin so good to hear from the both of you once again. I have two things on my mind that I would like to address to you and Michelle. 1.) Trucks, are they important? There is absolutely nothing in any of our homes that did not get to us unless it was by way of a truck. So yet they are very much important. 2.) Soup, Michelle said she put wild rice in her soup. I make a almost identical soup but instead of wild rice I use pearl barley in mine. I soak mine overnight and let it double in size then add it to my soup. The barley will thicken and make it where it really sticks to your ribs on a cold damp day. Thats all I have for now. Take care and c-ya both real soon.

They are Fiddleheads. Like asparagus but not quite. People eat them with butter on them and or with vinegar. You can eat them with anything else you like. We usually have potatoes, fiddleheads and a meat.
We crush Sammies thyroid pill on a plate and then mix it with a tablespoon of wet cat food. She licks it right up with no issues. Maybe this will work for you.

Yes these particular chocolate chips are crazy high because they are dairy and soy free. They used to be $5.99.

They do use a very small cuff for the Blood pressure.
