I am dealing with family members staying here, other family moving into the area, taking in cats from both, and getting the grandkids' dog and the cats used to them, while our cats have adjustments.
It doesn't matter how the music gets there, it is still being used without payment.

Hi Tonette. Busy house you have there right now. The basement is actually quite warm. Even in the winter nothing freezes on the cars. Which is good considering the cost of using it is crazy high and extra on top of rent here. It was nice for her to get out but a short trip. 🙏🏻

I'm glad that Michelle was able to get out. Sorry about having to give up your old vehicle, but your new one is really nice. I recently had to get rid of my car that I had for 20 years and got a 2023 (newer than one I had looked at, but half the mileage and only $4000 more). Thankfully, I was able to pay cash (that's what emergency funds are for, right?), so no car payments. But insurance is more and car tag. I have wiggle room, so it all worked out.
Thanks for taking us along. I'm going to stop complaining (maybe not) about our prices here! I keep hearing prices are dropping, but it's hard to call 3 or 5 cents a drop when the price went up a couple of dollars in a year. We just have to do the best that we can.

I've just returned from a trip from BC, NWT, Yukon and Alaska and anyone from either of these places can tell you about high grocery prices. It's been over 45 years since I used to run up there and things have sure changed. Congratulations on the new vehicle I've still driving my 08 Dodge pickup because it's still running great and I can't justify the price for a new one. Happy Canada day to everyone and to my friends in the US Happy Independence day. You and Michelle be good and Kevin be safe out there.
BC isn’t comparable. Higher cost of living and higher minimum wage. Always has been. As for the other places, always expensive as they have to absorb the high cost of food transportation. Not comparable. We don’t need to go to these places to understand food prices. Ours have more than doubled. Each person is impacted by their own individual circumstances.
Alberta, Nunavut, Yukon and the Northwest Territories have the lowest rate of 5% taxes, while residents of the Maritimes (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland/Labrador) pay the 15%. This matters. It’s why we don’t talk about food prices anywhere but where we pay. Just about Everything we buy costs more. There is definitely not a fair spread of taxes, or food prices. ON pays less for taxes and food.
congrats on the new car, looks immaculate. My Subaru is three years old, and I still haven't worked out all the features. I suppose if I applied myself I could, but other things to do. Like you I guess.

Love the new car, I would not guess that it was not brand new. We drive such few miles that the dealership is always wanting to buy back our car because of the low mileage. We plan to keep it until it gives us too many problems. Have missed your videos but I hope you have enjoyed having a little time off. Now I have to check out that cake!

I noticed you were looking at the Rice A Roni. I make it all the time. I buy the chicken flavor and add a can of pineapple chunks and some frozen peas, it's absolutely delicious and only takes about 15 minutes to make, and then you have Hawaiian rice. I use the liquid from the canned pineapple as part of the liquid to cook it. It's great with a rotisserie chicken if you're not feeling like cooking or pork chops. You should try it

However I rarely need it. I don't go out much anymore. Awesome looking car. My gravy mix just came in today,now I need to get me some French fries. Can’t wait to try it. If I like it I will be ordering more I love fries and gravy ever since I was a teenager when we moved to Juneau from our village of Hoonah which in on an island back in 1965. we didn’t have restaurant back then in our village.
