Spring fly fishing on the Provo River April 29, 2019. Jim O'Neal Fly Fishing Channel. Two brothers , Chris and Mike , tough it out on a cold windy day to catch brown trout. The mid day BWO hatch is sparse but enough are coming downstream to keep the trout looking for food. The anglers catch three what we call "doubles", that two people with fish on at the same time . The river flow continues to increase gradually but soon may start coming down heavy.
