I can't believe the number of fools slamming the pedals even in such poor conditions! I did 36 years trucking and never wanted to be in that part of the country. Especially in the winter after hearing those tales about how horrible driving conditions are in that part of the country.
Donner, 🦌Comet, 🦌Cubit 🦌& Blitzen 🦌. Beautiful: Music & straight up Ice capades. That was unexpected and nice. Although you were hauling A__, 🐎 thru Donner Pass. ❄🏞🏔🤔
When I was driving a eighteen wheeler and going over mountain passes, the trucks would be back up for as far as the eye could see and the problem was always without exception, a Roadway with double trailer and single drive axle with no chains, ALWAYS! Seemingly not shown here, was the real danger of black ice! This driver seems to be going really fast for a snow covered mountain road!! A tractor trailer could jackknife in the bat of a eye! I have seen trucks in deep valliyson these mountain roads that were so far down that they didn't not even bother to bring them up! I come really close to joining them one time as I was slipping on black ice and was right on the edge of the road and the wind was blowing my trailer off the road like a sail! The only thing that saved me, and the truck and load was the gravel on the edge of the road! YES, I was quite concerned!!

and this 'SUPER TRUCKER' should be taking a clue from the central rig he passed in my opinion! What a fool for going that fast in such conditions.
I've gone up and down Donner pass quite a few rimes,

Seems like the camera is too close to the wipers
When I drove semis I would not driving conditions like that you have every right to shut that truck down if you feel unsafe

Was just at Donner Lake in Dec 2020..no snow, would love to be there like this lol
Why did he drop his trailer at 1:25? Just to make it easier to put chains on?
That's correct.
Sometimes it is easier to disconnect
*Why don't they use snow chain* ⛓️ 😳
Haha
