My oldest friend lost her husband 10 months ago and I've given her support. I mentioned the Elvis film and trailer to her. She's hopefully, enjoying a long weekend with her eldest son, and we have made plans to see the film this next Tuesday. Now I know she's feeling better emotionally. Her late husband was a big Elvis fan too! So I know this will bring a smile to our faces for memory sake and Elvis too!
My 30 yr old daughter n I watched the movie last night. She liked Elvis as a child but was not obsessed as her Mother was. Watching her reaction to this movie made it even more magical for myself. She came out of this movie with a whole new respect for Elvis which made me very emotional on top of all the fantastic acting I had just witnessed. We talked about the movie the whole time driving back home in the car. She was shocked and very emotional about what Elvis went through as a rock God and a human being. You will want your kleenex, you will need to hold back your anger, it is a rollercoaster for sure. Tom Hanks, first time ever, the villain for sure. Austin Butler killed it!!! If he does not get an Oscar for his performance, like Lisa Marie I will eat my foot!!! I want to see it again, because it does move fast and I know there are scenes I would like to see again. The fashion, music, and the detail is spot on. You will leave the movie exhausted. Emotions run high. But from watching my daughter's reaction, the movie not only touches in on the older generation, but the younger generation!!!Thank you Baz. So much respect for you!! TCB Forever!!!
Every preview has been entertaining and exciting! Always chills and goosebumps watching within 20 seconds.in! I have since watched the movie 9 times so far! My 34 year old daughter went to see it with her girlfriend they both loved it and said they now loved Elvis and the movie was FANTATIC! A new generation of fans! 🥰fr.Australia

@@freesia5345 you are more fortunate than me because the movie will be shown in S. Korea at a later date. In the Philippines, it will not (never) be shown. I already searched for the list of upcoming movie releases in the Philippines; sadly, it is not included in the list.

Hey blue eyes girl, I just saw 2 famous house flippers on " Home Town". Erin and Ben. Talk about the movie they loved it, they are fairly young but there parents loved EP. Like you I am kind of sad all this attention will end soon, but at least a whole generation of new fans will see who he was. Be Blessed

I've seen those comments too Michelle about Lisa doing it for monetary reasons, no she's not only a Daddy's girl and misses him every day as we know how that feels but she's seen Austin embody ELVIS and for that almost 3 hours she saw her Daddy back that's what I believe and why she has got behind this movie!!!

Oh my goodness….this excitement is extraordinary. You brought me to tears telling us about your son and his friend and the Hound Dog dance, that’s precious. I am feeling extremely emotional and it seems to be ramping up the closer we get to Friday. I’m going twice on Friday, the first time on my own……I won’t be a pretty sight by the end of the film so probably best I’ll be on my own for that. I am confident that this movie is what we fans have been waiting for since 1977…a respectful and honest portrayal of our man. This will be amazing for his legacy….it’s already happening. As far as Lisa is concerned, there is NO WAY she would have come out in public unless she was emotionally invested in the film. From what we’ve seen she has what I hope will be a lifetime bond with Austin…in my mind it is what they both need. Fate has brought these two souls together. I’m going for a lie down…..😉❤

I saw it Tues night & didn't go in with any expectations! I just brought tissues just in case. I was mesmerized with Austin Butler...WOW WOW WOW!! He embodies his voice, moves and his essence! Brilliant! On point!! Telling Elvis's story went by fast, which I understood, cant put his life in 2 1/2 hrs. Long story short, showed his poor upbringing and he was inspired by the black church when the music hit his body!! He felt himself and happy in that element! It displayed his love for his fans and entertaining the world. Parker narrates and he was his meal ticket. I LOVED IT!!! Cant wait to see it again! Kudos to Baz & the whole cast, but Thank you Austin Butler! BRAVO!

I saw it on Tuesday night and all I am going to say is Austin Butler is brilliant in it. The entire audience clapped loudly at the end of the movie. I cried twice and saw two young girls in the row below me wiping away tears as well. I think you will love it Michelle. TCB!
I saw it yesterday... A lot of good things and it's a very original movie but unfortunately I must say
I was not involved and fully satisfied 😕 I want to watch it again! I'm curious to know the opinion of others. Austin and Tom did a great job and the movie is very accurate with costumes and scenography but I couldn't "feel" the real Elvis in his passion for music and humanity 👍🏻

@@TopOfTheHops Absolutely 😁😁 I liked the movie 👍🏻 I just wanted to feel better "the magic". To be honest I think one of the problem in my country is that our dubbing, for me, was not up to par. This is the reason why I want to watch it in the original language, so to appreciate better Austin work with Elvis voice.

Je souhaite à tous ceux qu'ils n'ont pas vue le film de prendre beaucoup de plaisir à le voir , beaucoup de points positif comme la prestation d'Austin extraordinaire ,une interprétation tout simplement incroyable et c'est un euphémisme !! décors , costumes ,reconstitution d'une précision chirurgicale ça les fans vont vraiment apprécier, pour les point négatifs....je les garde pour moi 🙂, il faut que je vois se film une seconde fois il y a des trucs dans l'univers de "Baz" que je ne pige pas , des trucs que je n'ai pas forcément aimer mais surtout pas compris c'est assez spécial quand même ! allez bon film les amis (e) Elvis is back !

I can't believe it's finally here! I get to see it Saturday at 11:30am!! This comment is a little long, but I gotta say it. I've always liked Elvis, but I never really started becoming a fan until After I saw the trailer I was like oh that's cool austin butlers in this. Then I really Discovered ELVIS! I imideatly knew elvis was my hero. My inspiration, my bright light when life gets tough. Austin is also my bright light. I started loving elvis, and I discovered that elvis wasn't just a star, he IS a LEGEND. the excitement is in the air. I've still got a couple days to wait but I'm anxious and excited, and a little bit nervous. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. I hope elvis looks down from heaven and sees how much he Inspires me and how much I love him. This movie is going to be unbelievable, it's amazing!! This for you elvis! All for you!! TCB⚡❤

Hello to our darling, Michelle. This is Mrs. Ace X, for the both of us. Your story about your son dancing to Hound Dog with other children at his school was nice to hear. 😄. Elvis, despite his fears, will never be forgotten.Thank you to everyone who prayed for my back, and I thank God. I have gotten a whole lot better. Prayer, 24 hours of bedrest and Bio-freeze roll on saved me. Wouldn't it be nice if they made a new mini-series about Elvis' life, (if) Austin played our Elvis? I suspect that the chance of that happening is nil. No one ever talks about this, but a couple or three years ago, Tom Hanks was on a late night T.V. talk show that we were watching. He was talking about how he was going to make this movie about Elvis, and Col. Tom Parker. He was going to play Col.Tom Parker, and that his characters name would be the title of the film. We were sick and disgusted that Hanks would think to speak well of Parker, which he did at the time. Also, sick that anyone would title a movie after him. We had zero plans to see the film. I feel sure that Elvis lovers protested to Warner Brothers, that they saw the error of their ways and changed the title, to save the film. Like us, people would have boycotted the film, because of the title. This way (now) it is all good. I hope that Hanks did not feel jilted, by the change. The ABC special 2020 T.V. episode was good, on Tuesday night. I told my sister-in-law (Mr.' sister) that it was coming on. We had previously shown her the first Elvis 2022 trailer. She did not like it, because it was not Elvis. She supprisingly watched the 2020 special, with her husband. She had been awake since 3:00 a.m. She likes her sleep. She is 75 years old. She was grown when Mr.was born. She was glad that she watched it. Now she plans to go to see the movie, with her husband. Since I have been to Graceland,( I think that she hungers to go there herself, now). She knew that Mr. had been there 3 times, but did not realize that I had been there also. Now we have the Oscars for our Elvis to look forward to, at the 2023 Academy Awards. The T.V. show should get high ratings next year. Remember to take your tissues to see Elvis 2022. Such a long wait from the day it was announced it would be filming, but now its finally here OMG!
BUT I have to say I really do not like Baz's style of filming. But its about Elvis and the trailers look good.
I really hope it's not all style over substance. Hope it does address the lies and myth's about Elvis with some dignity and respect.
I do not want a long advertisement, fast-cut, sledge hammer, in-your-face film for two and a half hours.
Either way seems audiences of today like it that way, so that's what really matters, new fans for Elvis and an honoring of his legacy, can't lose really.
