Thanks for this video.But I've been trying this for 2 years without success, you make it seem so effortless. My pedals are like welded together. Even put them in the oven to melt the thread lock, still not a chance to unscrew them unfortunately, even my locking pliers slipped and just created deep scratches. Maybe It's time for some new pedals after 10 years.

Before start with the service, I have a doubt, the piece that you dismounting in the minute 2:20 of your video, it`s really screwed to the main body or is press fit mounting. I told you that because your unscrewed to take it out but I´m not sure if you do that because is easier to take out or because is really screwwed?. Thank in advance for your answer.
Yes it's definitely screwed! Thanks @maliapostol for your video...followed everything to the letter (even the scary hammer to put it back with the spring on it!) and my pedal's been resuscitated !!!
Hi I have another problem ... externally the 4 wings of the pedal have an oscillation as if the central spring could no longer hold them still do you know how to help me? Thanks
Peter Bee you need to buy refresh kit from crankbrothers and inside is tool for needle bearings. There is protective ring inside axle in front of bearings so without tool you can make damage

You can use the back of a 10.5 mm drill bit instead of this tool if you don't have one to remove the bearing

Refresh kit and spring, it think buying a new pedal with new cleats is good idea

I am not shure about your problem.
Maybe, mount on the spring are worn out so you have loose spring.
