Met Billy twice the most grounded man I've ever met . I've been listening to Christy Moore for more years than I care to remember. I have nothing but admiration for both men
What a legend Billy is i would have loved to have seen him in concert when he came to ireland but didnt have the money but i do have his dvds he is a genius when i am down i always put on Billy he always cheers me up.
People moaned about Gay, i always liked him and the Late Late was never the same after him. These were the golden days, not perfect times but pretty good times to be fair, lots of characters around then.

I had the pleasure of meeting him in September 2000 at a book signing, he was so down to earth and "normal" that it was refreshing...

Funnily enough the two best live shows I have seen were Billy and Christy within 3 months of each other in the mid 90’s
