Big day mate, we were up there 3 weeks ago in the heavy rain Saturday arvo and night. We ended up coming back to 15 mile hut for the night and Ryan spur hut Sunday night, epic place 😊
Definitely epic, so much great riding...I keep looking at 3D maps to get an idea of the terrain, easy to get caught out on a 2d map or GPX file (been there, done that)
Done Newmans And Northern end of Mt Terrible a few weeks ago. Have to do Southern end and Moonlight next time around. Looks interesting. Hopefully our paths will cross in the wombat one day.
Good riding out there...Big River Road to Matlock Track to Mt Terrible, down Newmans Track then to the Eildon end of Mt Terrible Track, back up to the lookout, back down to Polletti Track, up to Flourbag Track, Moonlight Spur Track, Ryans Spur to Cornhill Road, then Frenchmans Spur Track....Big Day...Wombat is much closer...maybe see you there👍👍
@@sausagesandwichsa it was a great day, got to 24, which is pretty hot when riding those tracks all kitted up...the tracks were steep in sections...a few times I thought of turning around, but going back is just as difficult...once you commit yourself on these tracks, you have no choice other than to keep going.
@@bazz6670 cheers, as you would be aware, there are some big ups and downs in this part of Victoria ... I'm sure the MT 450 could manage...have enjoyed many of your videos, back from the 650 days

Great looking track and day..even the camera didnt flatten it out too much early on, still looked steep 👍

Nice! I've often wondered what that track is like. Damn steep by the looks of it!
Yes, there were some sections where I was a little concerned, but not many choices, go up or try to go back down them...not sure which is better.
