    I decided to narrate this book as a small offering of gratitude to the red pill community which helped me out a lot way back in 2015. Nothing has been the same since that time, but I would say for the most part things have been better.
    If you can think of any other books that may help other men and might benefit from human narration - books that aren't already on Audible or UA-cam - leave a comment below. I would happily contribute another.

      A man accumulates psychic energy and when it reaches a particular level, he does not know what to do with it. A woman (or facsimile of) provides an avenue of discharge through the lowest energy centre. His tension relieved, he begins a new cycle. Women mystics call this "Circling The Bowl".

      If only it was this simple. I became an opiate addict in my early twenties. Now, over a decade later, I am almost certain I fell into that trap as a way to numb the nagging pain of 4 years of involuntary celibacy. It may perhaps be that an exposure to sexuality far too early in my life made it my overwhelming drive but none the less it stands to this day. I have very often wished I were free of this slavish addiction that is the male sex drive.

      I think it’s normal because men are born to be like this and women are so too. It’s just now that a very small percentage of people find it out, but it goes against human nature meaning people will NEVER accept her work as the truth because all society is built on men being workhorses for women for thousands of years. Even RP is bs if you compare it to her work because RP just wants you to try another strategy to attract more women, not knowing the men are the prey and that women eat you up and disregard you after. Don’t think that people want to know this truth, all ‘reality’ is based on how things work and it was and will always be like this. The only thing you can do is go mgtow and try to not go crazy.. and try to find a good balance in being in the world and not of the world. Either you interact with people and they will eat you either you lice in isolation and you start to eat yourself. Live healthy, exercise, live a simple life and live day by day.

    ''It really should be possible for scientists to forget dedicating their work to their wives...'' (55:37)
    I have always found this a strange practise. Notice how male artists, authors, and lyricists address their wives with affection on page 1 of their writings. We, the reader, will instantly know the full name of the author's partner before we even begin to digest their work. Even worse is when a dedication reads: ''Thank you for being patient with me.'' I mean, imagine apologising to your wife for simply accomplishing your work. What exactly did _she_ have to endure as you, the creator, bled, sweat, and ground your fingers to the bone? Utter madness.
    I can remember completing a video game some years ago (Borderlands 2) and as the credits rolled I spotted numerous dedications - from male programmers - placating their women with lines such as: ''Thanks for bearing with me'' and ''We did this together''. Is it any wonder women expect VIP treatment for doing so very little when men cannot refrain from simping like this. Shame on them.

    Honestly, I can see why Vilar considers herself a feminist; however, she does the one thing that other feminists of her time, and onwards did not(that i know of) : attribute agency to women.
    Instead of critisizing and blaming men for keeping women down in a "man's world", she credits men for making it a "man's world" in the first place. She knows men were never given the world. They had to seize it at great cost to themselves. Women, on the other hand, contented themselves with just going along for the ride, allowing themselves to be pampered, and willingly giving up their potential for the sake of comfort, while busying themselves with painfully mundane "feminine duties".

    One important thing though, the author didn't want men to hate women, on the contrary she just wanted to bring men self awareness and to know why they do the things they're doing.
    For men, we can still love a woman, but we have to do it with this kind of knowledge and awareness, and we'll have to consider if it is OK (for ourselves) to sacrifice for it. If you think it is OK and worth all the work then go for it.

I mean, if a male "friend" thought and acted like this you wouldn't excuse him and still call him a true friend, would you? And ironically I doubt women themselves would like it if their female friends were like this.
      Now, that doesn't mean men should spend all or most of their time crying and obsessing about how mean most of the ladies are, that isn't helpful, but you can't seriously expect men who are aware of all this to avoid despising them either. That's simply an unreasonable expectation.

When I hit thirty years old, I took a look at the wasteland of partners behind me and realised how enslaved I had been by most of those women. I split with my girlfriend that very day. My one saving grace was that I never had children, which put me a powerful position to make changes from there on. I'm 51 now and have dated here and there over the years, but I no longer expose myself to vulnerability I risked when I was younger. These last 21 years have been the best years of my life where I've gotten ahead better in every area, including psychologically. I thought I was strange to live like this until I read The Manipulated Man in 2024. Thanks for making me feel normal again. The book is a little dated now, but many of the fundamentals still stick.

    I am fortunate enough to have a copy of the book. I had no idea of what I was about to read. Good Lord. Never in my life have I felt more pathetic and disgusted with my previous interactions with women and simp ass behavior. Thankfully, my reasoning overwhelmed my rage and it also cast aside the petty bitterness that I've contained against women due to the fact that I've been gracefully or indifferently rejected by a number of them. It hurts to not be accepted. But now I understand that I shouldn't automatically cast a promiscuous woman as a villainous whore or Jezebel. There is nothing to judge or criticize about their shameless behavior and discreet deceit. It's their nature and should be left to their own devices. Attempting to convince a woman to change her character or habits for you is a dead end. Accept that it was your turn and that those lovely memories that you hold on to that give you butterflies whenever you think about that particular woman are light fucking years away from her memory. Thank you for the clear narration sir and I would also like to thank Esther Vilar for helping me understand women. I am sure that there is more brutal truths to uncover. I'll be damned if I cry and seethe over a rejection or hopelessly validate every single woman that I encounter under the hopes of even having her look my way. Fuck that. I hope that every man that sincerely read and evaluated this text finds inner peace and quickly gets over the turbelent and uncomfortable feelings you will receive by reading the book. Good fortune gentlemen.

    I do really enjoy this book, however I also notice it is for a large part, a deconstruction on male socialisation. The book uses the word “manipulation” in place of what would normally be “socialisation”, and this includes observations she’s made about infant boys receiving praise from the mother as an indicator of accepted behaviour, reinforcing that behaviour into later adult psychology. In other words, conditioning men to base their adult existence on whatever action might illicit more female praise, adoration and even sex. This led to the male ideals of being a breadwinner, or providing resources and finances. While I am not a traditionalist, the landscape we live in today is so plentiful and decadent, that the previous type of socialisation (or manipulation) has failed to motivate men any longer, as women can now provide their own financially independence and are not impressed if we “bring home the bacon”. Both Men and Women are left scratching their heads wondering why they ever wanted a relationship to begin with, find the opposite sex mostly irritating and jarring to spend time with - thus we are hit with the dawning realisation for all of time, men and women only tolerated each others company to some mutual benefit.

    • @xyzmedia5161

      Good comment. If the pressures of survival are removed from both parties, due to the existence of the State, relationships are almost a luxury, not a necessity, therefore both sides are willing to catapult out at the first sign of trouble and the grass is always greener, etc. They begin to think the goal of relationships is romantic satisfaction and this leads to a lot of frustration. In reality men and women coupling up was always quite utilitarian in nature. It's the inability to accept this that leads to a lot of confusion and frustration. Personally, I have given up on the idea of "love" and all this nonsense, and therefore women have become much more tolerable.

      Thanks for the reply mate, absolutely agree. I am more fascinated by the environmental forces that nudge human nature, rather than the nature itself. So much RedPill/Feminist/Gender content creators are busy playing the blame game and pointing fingers, but Instead I find benefit in zooming out and recognising that rapid cultural change is jarring and uncomfortable for everybody. Tribalistic Alo-parenting seems like the arrangement we are evolutionarily adjusted to, living with a degree of discomfort and environmental danger, that illicits men and women serving each other and protecting each other on a sort of auto-pilot. Without any environmental forces to push against us, we go on dinner dates and only see people’s flaws, while all of the admirable qualities of people only reveals themself under outside pressure. The stress of paying bills and washing dishes together is simply not adequate pressure, but the fending off of a wild animal, and the sheltering from a storm might be. The contemporary landscape we occupy right now is a disaster for human relations, because it is so comfortable and docile. You can go ten whole years in a stale, dull and dissatisfying relationship, and in one single moment end up shielding your girlfriend from a dangerous situation, and in that sudden outward display of animal aggression, she gets the tingles and fucks you better than you’ve been fucked in ten years - suddenly driven by seeing your dominant quality arise from the unsexy squalor of the usual 9-5 drudgery.

    On Vilar's book title "The Manipulated Man": The book title of the German original is "Der dressierte Mann". The German word "dressiert" is much more intense and heavy than the formal word "manipulated" (German: manipuliert). I was very shy had a crap teen years short fat spotty wore glasses so a virgin till my 30s. I was absolutely messed up about women. Believed in true love. I did eventually meet someone who was actually interested and I thought it was true love but in retrospect I think it was just because I had a house and I could be used. Married life was boring but when my daughter was born it was very nice with a sort of nuclear family vibe. I was still quite pathetic and knew I'd married wrongly. We ended up divorcing but when in separation I got into pua which is generally useless with say 1% of useful info...this book by Villar being part of that 1%. Ultimately I believe women are mainly interested in attention and resource gathering and avoiding having sex unless you're a model tier man then they will kill their children and grandparents to have sex with you

However , the vast majority of women are exactly what this author claims. I have met a lot of them. So, if a woman is not willing to cook for me, I won’t marry her. I Can have sec with her, have fun, but won’t tie the knot if she is not cooking for me.

    It’s funny you say this is an “introduction to the red pill” most “red pill” channels would never DREAM of saying such outrageous things (outrageous to this society of slaves). This is something that goes beyond the red pill, like a “Forbidden Pill” or something like that.

    • @xyzmedia5161

      Heh. You might be right. I'm basically black pilled at this point so this book comes across as very benign to me. But you can't underestimate the level of delusion of the typical normie you encounter.

    • @solonyetski
      @solonyetski Рік тому +3

      @@xyzmedia5161 what makes you see this book as benign? What makes the black pill so horrible that this pales in comparison? Women are not the perfect angelic beings that they sold us, and being with them is generally detrimental to us, at least in the relationships like we have in the west, maybe the middle east is different.
      I find this liberating, what’s there to be black pilled about? What are you missing out on because of circumstances outside your control? Being the slave of a dumb and heartless organism? Whom, the better she looks, the more she’ll cost you and make your life hell?
      Like I said, I don’t see how anyone could be blackpilled after knowing this.

    • @xyzmedia5161
      @xyzmedia5161  Рік тому +1

      @@solonyetski Yes, I agree, this book liberating, and not really black pilling, hence I think it's pretty benign in the sense that it's suitable for people making their first entry into this stuff. I got black pilled by other stuff along the way. For example, if you told your blue pill friend to read Schopenhauer or Otto Weininger instead, it might be too much too soon.

    • @solonyetski
      @solonyetski Рік тому +2

      @xyzmedia5161 Agreed. Schopenhauer went "hard in the paint." To put it that way.
      I absolutely love how Vilar somewhat takes the torch from Schopenhauer and applies his observations to a more contemporary woman. Guess "The Emancipated Woman" is what most closely resembles the average woman of today.
      The part that is so brutal is when she explains how the Slave of today can't even count on the only refuge he had, "his" woman's "loyalty". A man really has no business being in a relationship today.
      I did begin to listen to Weininger's book a while ago, but haven't gotten too into it.

    • @xyzmedia5161
      @xyzmedia5161  Рік тому +4

      @@solonyetski I'm not so black pilled that I think it's entirely impossible but certainly one needs to stay vigilant these days. Your woman's mind is being psychologically attacked from all fronts. So you not only have to deal with her but her friends, the media, government, etc, all poisoning her thinking. I'm not surprised men are checking out of this rotten deal.
