    Like your reviews Rick and in that air rifle you’ve picked an absolute gem. As someone who’s shot air rifles on this side of the pond for 55 years this is the springer I’ve been most tempted to buy but never did. The reason? - it’s weight. I’m primarily a hunter and in my youth we had 2 top air rifles, the BSA Airsporter and the Webley Mk3. I had both but my first love was always the Airsporter. My first was a second hand one with a cracked stock that dad paid £5 for. Those early Airsporters had something undefinable about them - they were beautifully proportioned and the Pro Sport always puts me in mind of them. The only downside to the AirSporter ( for a skinny 14yr old ) was its weight but as I grew up that became less of an issue. Now I’m at the other end of the spectrum and once again weight is an issue when I’m out walking fields + woods. Modern pre-charged make life much easier but to anyone who is looking for the best springer money can buy take a look at this one first. The engineering is outstanding and the classic lines might make you just want to hang it on the wall ( not here in England, the authorities frown on such things ).
    Keep the reviews coming Rick - they make this lock down bearable.

    These guns are in my opinion the pinnacle of any air gunners collection, I’ve been shooting airguns for nearly fifty years and I’ve always been a Weihrauch man having in my cabinet at the moment two hw100kt’s one in 22 and in 177 along with my awesome hw97 k blue laminate and two hw95k’s in 22 and 177 again both fantastic rifles and my little HW99s which is my grab and shoot garden gun.
    But I’ve always had on my bucket list the pro sport and yesterday I finally put in my order for a walnut 177 model, I’m a lefty so it’s cost me more for the privilege but like anything you get what you pay for and I can’t wait for the call from my local gun dealer to say it’s arrived and I was pretty lucky as it was the last one in left handed in the country at the moment until I presume Air arms run another line of them as they could even be made for order I’m not sure but at least I’ve got mine on it’s way.
    I’m over the pond in the U.K. in beautiful North Yorkshire, flat cap county! And thee gun has cost me a whopping £975 but I think we all know it’s worth every penny.

    I bought the Air Arms ProSport in 177 last week. It's probably the easiest and most consistent Springer I've ever shot. It actually groups like a PCP and loves Air Arms 4.52, 8.44 grain pellets. Build quality is excellent too!

    The Pro Sport is Hands Down the best looking Rilfe when it comes to Springers. I have one in 177. and i own 2 other tx200s in 177 and 22 . good rifles but i really like the Pro-Sport is just awesome. it really liked the Baracuda Matches and Also the Predator GTOs shoot damn good also.

    Great shooting in the wind! Doesn't the .22 caliber help (as compared to .177)?? I have a TX200 in .22 that I love. It seemed to shoot well in the wind during field target competitions.
    I have never had a ProSport, but, have always thought that it was one of the most beautiful airguns ever made.

    I love my ProSport. 22 so much, I order a .177 through your company. Incidentally, when you cock the underlever, the wood will make a creaking sound. This is the rifle telling you to get the hex key out, and tighten your rifle up. I'm not sure it was intended, but it is remarkable to note. You can zero on 14.3gr CR, and shoot less expensive ammo. Rifle is NOT super picky on ammo. It shoots Hades, and Terminators very well too. I really love what Air Arms did on the ProSport. Wish I had an Elite, but they're impossible to find.

    Is the pro sport light as i found the TX200 to be front heavy

    • @barry5787
      @barry5787 2 роки тому +1

      Front heavy helps, I think you are not a serious shooter, you maybe a hunter but for serious target shooting with a springer it is a must or you will need to use a barrel weight.

    Looks like a under lever to me... the lever is on the under side ?

    AAs look great but the way I see it are way overpriced (I’m talking specifically about their PCPs). Yeah they are pretty but for the money I’d much rather buy FX with its numerous features like crazy shot counts, adjustability, barrel changes.. etc.

    Great gun but union labor in UK makes it almost to much for most people.

    • @goddamnox
      @goddamnox 2 роки тому

      What on has union labor whatever that is have to do with anything?

    • @dr.emilschaffhausen4683
      @dr.emilschaffhausen4683 2 роки тому

      @@goddamnox In the US wages for union labor are higher than for non-union, thus products made with union labor tend to be more expensive than other competitors.

    You need to say something different when repeating a product review.
