Unboxing a £10,000 box set! Steven Wilson's The Future Bites (Ultra Deluxe Limited Edition of One)

- I was lucky enough to buy this extraordinarily rare box set of which only one copy was made. This is Steven Wilson's Ultra Deluxe Music Product on Obsolete Media Limited Edition of One version of his latest album, The Future Bites.
This is the first time Steven Wilson has released a box set like this. It includes dozens of exclusive items from Steven's long career, including handwritten lyrics, props from music videos, his Grammy nomination medallion, and more.. I made this video to share all of the items with you in detail.

We have got to be the luckiest fans in the world when the limited one-edition Ultra deluxe boxset that gets sold ends up in the hands of a guy willing to make a PERFECT video that goes through the entire set in details. Good narration, camera work, montage, everything is top notch. I got the deluxe edition, but seeing this video almost feels like having the ultra deluxe. Thank you so much for doing this AND for sharing the song!!
Thanks so much. I've gotten so much from Steven's music and videos over the years, I wouldn't want to deprive anyone of even one song from his catalog.
@@AlanLastufka Given that this set is a one-off, it's cool that he actually gave the owner permission to rip the disc. The box set (both the one-off £10000 pound edition and the "regular" edition mere mortals can obtain) is pretty cool. I'm not into Steven Wilson myself and I would never own any of this myself but it's still cool.

I have to say. I legitimately got chills and tears in my eye when you gave the details of the 7" single. Im surprised that I did, but I guess I can see why. I started pirating music at the ripe age of 13 back in 2000, found and subsequently fell in love with Steven Wilson/PT in 2004 and of course have since become a proper consumer. So to first hear him say that he would allow you to choose whether to release it or keep it private was really neat, but then when you said you would share it, I just responded with intense emotions. Very cool stuff. Thanks for going through this! I stopped in to my local shop to buy the vinyl a couple hours ago, and I've streamed it twice now. As always, one of my favorite records of all time. Thank you. And thank you to Mr. Wilson!

Well done for buying this in support of the Music business. And well done to them for making it, as advertised, a work of art. I just got my 'normal' delux box set and it is art in its own right. I am currently considering adding a sauce stain and a tea cup stain to the front to make mine a one-off. But, honestly, as long as you can afford it, well done for spending the cash and thank you for sharing it with us.

This has nearly made me cry! I’m not an SW fan as such, although I have been listening to some of his stuff recently. I have read the article in the current issue of Prog Magazine, about this album, and I was fascinated with the image of the £10,000 limited edition of one, which eventually led me to this video. I am so pleased for you! I am now going to order a vinyl version of the new album, which I listened to earlier today on Spotify. I can see why it is “controversial” amongst some of the fans. Thank you so much for putting this up!

And to think in the early 1990's I went to see an unknown band called Porcupine Tree in a fairly low key venue in Liverpool, England and afterwards a small amount of people stayed behind to meet the band.. I was talking to Steven for a while (He was probably only in his early 20's).. What was curious was that the drummer at the time Chris Maitland (lovely guy btw) signed my CD of Up the Downstair and whispered "Don't tell Steven!"

A big thumbs up for releasing the exclusive song to the public. And for the whole video. Been an SW fan for over two decades now, not enjoying the album much (not because of the arrangements but IMO sub-par hamonic/melodic content) but I did enjoy the vid a great deal.
