I have that leather Trinket Toy, and oh my gosh my male parakeets love it. I only keep 1 Trinket Toy in their cage for variety, but they love to climb and swing on it like a wrecking ball 🤣
Nice video! It reminded me that my bird's toys need changing. I actually have the foraging toy in the beginning of the video. My birds love it when I cut up my junk mail (black and white paper) into thin strips and clip it to the cage. Thank you for your ideas.
Yes, you are correct in some cases. Many birds actually enjoy playing with plastic toys. If the toys are not making them hormonal then in my opinion they are fine. Sure if that's the only toys your bird has then yeah its bad but if your bird has a very wide variety I think one or two plastic toys are fine. Like cotton ropes you just have to make sure your bird is not getting attracted to them. Again I'm talking about ones that are safe. Not any they can get there head stuck in or can swallow. No mirrors.
@@davidthebirdguy517 Aww, I can see that lol. I am editing a video right now about Dromaeosaurus. I'm starting a new series on my channel about the Dinosauria sub-group, Dromaeosauridae. Can't wait for your next video 😄
thanks for the recommendations, I'll be sure to check them out.

Just be careful cause some ink is toxic to budgies
Just a note that with parrots never ever plastic. It is unhealthy for them in many ways.
