I just clip vegetables with a clothes pin to the cage and they started eating. Then I do shred up veggies and brown rice and they do eat some of it. Even if they don't eat it at first, eventually they will.

My birds love Tops pellets, they would not eat Harrison's pellets. Harrison's have a lot of corn. I will check out Bird Tricks pellets.
