Right? Also Storm's End but it make sense because there's no going there in the series. I really hope if House of The Dragon will use this kind of intro they will show Casterly Rock, Highgarden and Storm's End.
“Sunspear” surprisingly is only mentioned one time in the show. Every other time, it’s just referred to as “Dorne” whereas Casterly Rock and Highgarden are mentioned several times explicitly.
@@guillaumelefebvre6010 Well, there's a huge difference in that comparisson. I don't really see anything wrong with showing the capital of Dorne whilst having the Dorne name next to it since Dorne is the place that's mentioned the most, Sunspear is rarely ever mentioned in the show. And The North is by far larger than Dorne with far more crucial locations in it aswell, such as The Dreadfort, The Wall, Moat Cailin, Eastwatch, Last Hearth and of course Winterfell. So, the comparisson is a bit skewed. So, if they suddenly show "Sunspear" next to the city, the audience will most likely go "eh?", since it's rarely ever mentioned. Basically, it's far more easier and causes way less confusion.

@@orionvitale5020 Well, season 7 had some writing problems for sure (mostly due to the lesser amount of episodes). And Season 8's writing isn't even good, if you binge all seasons, you'll notice a change between season 6 and 7 in writing and a big plummet for season 8. There are a lot of things characters did/said in Season 8 that's just not according to their character, the writing was just off. Imo it's not terrible, it's just sad to know that season 7 and 8 both could've been better with a few more episodes and more effort put into the writing.
Early on, Catlyn goes to Storm's End to see Renly. In Spoils of War, there was a scene at Casterly Rock and Highgarden, where Olenna speaks with Jaime. Also, we never saw North of the wall, the tree where the three-eyed raven and Children of the Forest were located, or Hardhome. All these locations should have been in the intros as well.
Those opening credits were so cool, i remember watching them on each new episode just to search for new locations :) Thank you for this compilation; it's a stroll through all important regions in the series, underscored with the best soundtrack!
“A Song of Ice and Fire” has to be the best part of the OST. I’d put probably “Light of the Seven,” “The Night King,” “You are No Son of Mine,” and “Hardhome pt. 1” as the rest of my personal top 5.
I really dont know why they have to show that part of the opening after the White Walkers are defeated. They could have focused more on Dragonstone to King's Landing than Last HEarth
I dont why they have to include Eastwatch. Its literally part of the Wall. I mean, we should have Craster's Keep, Fist of the First Men and Hardhome in the map if they gonna include Eastwatch. We could have had Casterly Rocka nd HIghgarden but no, Eastwatch was apparently way more important. And lets not even start with "Dorne"
Its funny that when Sansa was living in the Eyrie in season 4. They never shown it once in the intros for that season for some reason? They only shown it again in the beginning of season 5 when she was leaving the place.
How the hell in all of the 8 season did high garden never get shown, bruh 😢, would have though it would have been on at least when the Lannister’s take it
This is something too much for this era. Literally, I don't care about final season, this was the Greatest Story ever told through Cinema and makers are truly awesome. what about the last two seasons?
@@channel_00000 I love them. Not really what I want but those plot are the best choice.
The last season was not that good, but game of thrones stills the best tv show ever
But now American series choose to use 5seconds opening intro only, for the sake of "more content" (read: more ads). RIP tv intro.
@@MikeGoodman21Last season was definitely a disappointment but in retrospect it was still better than the majority of TV out there

Those last two animations for King's Landing and Winterfell are so good, it really is a shame that it was wasted on such a horribly written season.
