“Party rock anthem” was the most overplayed song ever and I’m not joking. Anyone who can take themselves back to 2011 knows how impossible it was to escape that song. The only other close contenders for most overplayed since then would be “I have a feeling” by black eyed peas or “shape of you” by Ed sheeran

real. I remember being in elementary school and hearing party rock anthem playing during our PE warmups first thing in the morning, and ngl, that sh!t got me pumped. (I’m 22 now). Their music gave me such a good feeling back then as a little kid, and I can’t even lie, I still love their music. I know they’re never coming back, but I still will listen to them every once in a while.. just to feel like a happy young kid again. Its honestly kind of sad how big they blew up and how quickly the bottom fell out. Their music changed the mix of radio music at the time, like every other song was some kind of big room house there for a while. Really shows you that no matter how big you blow up, if you don't keep the ball rolling you can very quickly lose it all.

It’s a very sad ending for them
I completely understand why Sky Blu was mad when his uncle left him behind to tour. He probably thought they were going to make it together as family. I get how he felt betrayed but I can also see Red Foo’s point of view.
This wasn’t his first time trying to make music and while for his nephew it was all new and fun he probably thought this was his last shot. For the first time in his career he was getting mainstream attention and probably was afraid of their success going away if he didn’t act fast. And I don’t blame him for thinking that way.
At least he had some years of success cause he did lose his momentum after the tour.

Who knows if they even came up with the hook any of that song themselves, the problem is there dad, he has more connections in the music industry on the level of michael jackson were talking, he could snap his fingers and have the best rap producers giving him free beats. i feel so sorry for 8ky... in my eyes he's sincere & coming from the heart about how things went south.. he's also much more talented, incredible rapper, his "i'm hooked" freestyle really impressed me, i was waiting for his album too.. tbh the way how he described what was going on behind curtains seems honest, you can see how earlier in interviews he tried to be nice about it and not expose all the dirt he got thrown into.. i hope 8ky will find a way to put his music out & raise in the music scene once again. as for redfoo, he always seemed just an arrogant silly clown.. i wasn't even surprised he took a shit on his nephew like that & bounced taking with him the brand of the group...

I think there's probably more to the story, and both of them likely contributed to the tension. I agree that based on what SkyBlu said, his uncle was controlling and cared more about the money than their relationship (if what he said is completely true).
However, I don't think his Facebook post about his issues with RedFoo had completely honest intentions. Tension and confrontations always seem to be brought up publicly when the person exposing it has the most to gain.
In my opinion, SkyBlu was bashing RedFoo publicly to draw media attention and promote his solo album and other projects. He mentions his solo album at the beginning and his Big Bad collective at the end of his post. He was content keeping the reasons for the LMFAO breakup private until his album was about to release, then suddenly it became so bad that it needed to be exposed.
That's a terrible way to handle issues with a family member and a scummy (but common) marketing tactic. Why do the fans need to know about your issues with your uncle? In my opinion, that could've been handled privately.
