I dunno... If an old lady who lives on only her pension sneaks a side of salmon into her shopping bag around Christmas, I'd keep quiet about it. Yes, it's stealing, but the store chain she steals from has legions of lawyers and accountants in order to evade and avoid paying taxes, and probably donates to politicians who will gladly cut her miniscule pension to give them even more tax breaks. There is theft, and there is theft. Robin Hood is the hero for a reason :)
It was a coffee mug that came in three colors. Customer asked if it came in a fourth color "Sorry, it's only available in the colors you see". "Well, since you don't have the color I want, I should get a discount on one of these". Uh, no.
For all the people who think that posting these stories doesn’t make for a good image of the USA, my reply is, “Really? I thought it showed we have such confidence in ourselves, that we laugh at people who are absolutely clueless about the real world.”

4:33. Remember the old days? When the movie was the best part? And the popcorn smell was incidental? 7:14. For context, this was years ago, long before Covid. I was in hospital for one of the many pre-transplant appointments I had. Being a hospital, they had hand sanitizer bottles at the end of every bed, so that medical staff could clean their hands before examining the patient. This guy walks into the room, carefully looking around him, couldn't have looked more suspicious without wearing a mask and a big hat saying "I AM A THIEF". Slowly and carefully he takes the sanitiser out of the holder, and with another theatrical look around the room at the four patients who really couldn't give a rat's ass about it, he tucks it into his sweat pants and "sneaks" out of the room.... One advantage of the British style of service is that we can come right out and tell people they are being stupid without risking our jobs....
The old lady with the frozen chicken under her hat... this is a really old story that I read about in my city's local newspaper years ago. And it was M&S, not ASDA 😄
My daughter who works at a small bookshop’s cafe was told by some fool that as they did t do soup , she ought to be “reported “.. to whom, the Soup Police?
The driver with the TV outside his car. I saw a man unwrapping a 72-inch TV. Him and his wife holding it on the roof of the car, with their hands. They did not even make it 10 feet away before the TV was banged right the front of the vehicle and destroyed on the pavement.
1:06 I could not have refrained from laughing. Or adding, "I'm not your freaking personal servant, lady!" I suppose this is why I could never work retail. 2:40 This is what paprika is for. 3:17 They did this with SEATBELTS??? Methinks this wasn't the driver's first rodeo with this kind of setup. 5:17 Is there pay-per-scream of this??? :)

You most certainly can! Between Photoshop, imaginations, and plain lying, people are capable of making up absolutely anything at all in the decade of the 2020s!
4:18 The customer has a point. "Buy one get one free" privileges those who can make use of two bought at the same time, over those who can't. 4:43 What's "dumb" is the drive-through not taking walk-up customers. 6:09 I dunno, how exactly did Kinkos put into words what service they provide?
This is what the USA has become? For 80% of American history the country was either a slave holding state or an apartheid nation. For most of American history Americans were far worse people than this. As bad as this is.
Sadly, these kinds of people already exposed the country's shocking stupidity, for all to see, at the beginning of November. It is no longer an image thing - it's a global catastrophe thing.

That’s what you believe is it?
This stuff being so unique to Americans is the point. Not a good look.
And it could get a rapist elected president of the US. There is that.
It's a bit late for that. I mean you will forever be the country that elected a convicted criminal moron soooo.....
Why would anyone assume these are all from the US? There are stupid people in every country
Nuh,,,, its showing the world that America is pretty awful.

Which implies that it was not in the U.S. Why do so many commenters assume all of these are in the U.S.? There are silly people everywhere.
Add lime to that rum & coke and you have a "Cuba Libre." Try it.

1:05 "Yes ma'am. Come here." She gets there and… surprise! No item there. And "No ma'am, I never talked to you before." Solved.
7:50 Warning, you should never try to "hind" a frozen chicken.

3:15. At least they realized that it wasn't going to fit in the car.
You can actually make quite a bit of money hinding frozen chickens online, if you're into that sort of thing. At least that's what I've heard...

Those are not seatbelts, they are ratchet straps.
@@jeanne8507 The buckles DID look a bit large to me. :)
Those are very clearly ratchet straps---the ratchets are plain as day on the straps (the black parts down low)---not seatbelts.

I'd go one further: Lots of non-English-speaking countries have people proficient in English, who post on the internet (QED, I'm Danish.)
You can't make this stuff up!😂
You most certainly can! Between Photoshop, imaginations, and plain lying, people are capable of making up absolutely anything at all in the decade of the 2020s!
Just look at U.S. congress & MSM !

I think the drive-in restrictions might be about safety.
Probably. It is annoying though if you've walked to a place and can't get served even though people who've driven there can.
