The Parkinson's interview with Meg Ryan was simply just a publicity stunt to boost his BBC TV show ratings. l met the demure Meg Ryan on a film set working as an extra years ago and she was simply charming to talk to, nothing like she was on this infamous show. l hope Michael talks nicely to St. Peter, otherwise, he won't get in. RIP
Parkinsons' attitude stinks. He will not take responsibility for goading and bullying Meg Ryan. She had already stated she didn't like to be in front of an audience, that she didn;t like interviews, but that she had to do them. What dies this horrible man do? Heeps harping on, instead of changing the subject and tryng to put her at her ease. And then he has the bloody affrontary to say they were "both in a grim mood" no, Mr Parkinson, you were a conceited, arrogant bully who believed his own publicity and thought he could treat people any way he wanted. He was a horrid man, and I cannot be hypocritical and shed a tear now he's gone. We all have to go, but what matters is how we behave before that day comes.

Loved Parky, he was one of the best interviewers that ever lived, however, typical of his generation, he had a superiority complex regarding women. His interview with Helen Mirren was utterly appalling. Parky was rude to Meg Ryan. End of. No surprise that Morgan doesn't get it because, he too, has a superiority complex towards women, also, Morgan is not an interviewer in my opinion, he talks over virtually everyone on his shows. He's an egocentric sensationalist and he's very good at that lol.

She was talkative, answered all the questions nicely and thoughtfully. Parky kept taking digs and made the whole interview awkward
