I’m so glad this topic is being discussed. I’ve read a lot of the books you’ve mentioned and been interested in the topic of psychopathy for a number of years. As soon as I understood what one was, I realized that politics would appeal to their temperament and then I looked for more written on this combination. At the time, I found nothing and was very disappointed and thought how sorely needed such a book was. When Trump came into power, I immediately recognized what he was based on my previous study and pointed it out to as many people as I could. What I discovered was that most people knew very little about what psychopathy actually was. At that time most dismissed my take and assumed I was talking strictly about crazy serial killers and thought that meant that anything else could not be considered psychopathy. Since Trump, many more have explained the details (thank god) - largely because I think we could all tell something was very wrong with Trump but most did not understand what they were picking up on. Thank you, thank you for writing this book. The world needs to understand this - so desperately.
