Imagine being so scared of being 3 bet that you don’t open the button, and instead limp in with 94s.
Its fine to have a button limping strategy. Its getting common in mtts
J S it is but i hate it in deep stacked cash games.
J S MTT are a totally different thing to deep stacked no ante cash games
J S limping is common in mtts under 25bbs not 100bbs or more deep
KvW I don’t get what’s wrong with uncommon lines. Your range is wide open and you can start balancing with your value hands once they see the weaker limps. I know it’s not optimal, but I really don’t get playing with the “common” plays at the time.
Lol take away blind ability to 3bet with a limp
I notice Chris Price's commentary is always just facts about what occurred. He gives very little insight into why he's making decisions, how he's ranging his opponents, etc.
cause fish
Apart from the 94s limp I like McLovin´s game
Yeah he got a little ambitious there
Nice guy. Great player
Is this McLovin? He looks a lot like him in my head and he sounds a lot like him too.
This is a great format, guys. You deserve all the attention you can get. Keep em coming! Cheers
I'm looking forward to attending 1 of these classes asap I love the way they're doing this it's a different approach that looks valuable for sure.
Would love to see this series with live 2/5 bad regs and also Berkey. Oh wait.......
jjust got backk from work to watch some greatness. thank you
I love how this series isn't just a highlight reel of big hands running into bigger hands or huge bluff catch spots. It showcases hands like Berkey's bottom set that gets no value, unfortunately, because he has few value targets, which is just how poker goes sometimes!
please tell me that last hand is the one you review. could chis have blocker bet the turn and got paid on the river?
I guess I'm a nit since I generally don't play 94s. :P
The intro is 👌
I'd like to see a couple of fishes on the table to see how fishes think
Great content as always. On a side note I had the pleasure of listening to Berkey do one of his "after hours" chat sessions with S4Y subscribers. The episode on play at low limit games with limited bankroll (as in # of buy-in) rang true. For the past decade I've been relegated to 1 BI/session per day whenever I play and it completely ruined my game.
You dont know what you have until the flop comes out. I play pretty much anything before the flop. You hit any pair theres likes a 75% chance you have the best hand.
Seat open
Poker is fun 4 all my S4Y friends.
Lol I'll give me ur email ill send u my address to my home game
I love this academy please come to Aust please
Why does Chris K bring up "Candy Shop" in the 999/77 hand? Like he couldn't wait to lick the lollipop when the 7 comes on the river. Haha.
The dream continues
Amazing
On Chris’ last hand, my immediate thought was blocker to induce. However, I think I would have gone a lot smaller than 100, perhaps 45-55. Perhaps this sizing makes the induce plan somewhat transparent. Thoughts?
tell me that song
Imagine limping the button with 94s and checking it down lol
Sid the kid is trashhhhh
That price guy just frustrates me so much with his logic. He will literally say one thing, then change his entire thought process within 10 seconds.
Failing at Life his commentary is terrible
That's pretty reflective of what happens to most ppl in real time, yourself included
@@SolveForWhy what a defensive reply, not very professional.
28:20 I actually would consider this hand as a bluff. It wouldnt have worked but this is bottom of your range pretty much and you retain all the KK QQ 99 while button only has 99 or 97 for full house. I guess 9T 98 makes better bluff but I don't mind mixing up AQ as a bluff every now and then.
Absolutely love the content and the idea behind poker out loud but the one thing I've been kinda noticing is that I feel like the players either instinctively or due to them actually needed to verbalize their thoughts and not want to be wrong, makes them play tighter.
Poker plays very tight at equilibrium.
why did he fold Full ?
How is chris K s bet on the river a blocker bet when he has position??????
it's not a block bet lol
Horrendous
How does Berkey not know monotone boards have zero big bets
first hand. raise button. rep ace. profit
or
limp. one stab. quit.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Who took poker to this level it's insane all the overanalyzing
Why do they all speak in the same manner and fashion?
Berks weird syntax is contagious
It’s like when a child mimics its parent
cult
Do t open k9o from hj
Don’t limp 94s you whale
get the nits out!, Price offers no insight or value, just says i do this or that, no explanation. we prefer younger people on the show plz. old people are dead usually in terms of entertinment and skill
